First of all, if you are strictly a beach person you might want to go to Cancun or some other destination. There is a lot of seaweed right now. (I hear in the winter months there is less seaweed.) You can’t get in the water. However the beach is beautiful. There is clean, soft white sand and plenty of palapas to relax under. This resort more than makes up for the seaweed. It’s beautiful! The gardens are amazing. It’s a large resort but everything is close by. The large lazy river is perfect for a relaxing day and if you want fun go to the main pool. It will feel like you are at two different resorts. The food was great compared to other all inclusives I’ve been to.
The breakfast buffet is top notch and service is great throughout the resort. We ended up
eating easy lunches around the different pools. Pizza, nachos, burgers. Service was great there too.
We totally recommend the spa. It’s pricy but it was worth the splurge. We loved the hydrotherapy before our massages. I had a great massage!
We had a fairly rainy week with one day being a total washout. For those of us that didn’t want to stay in our rooms the resort kept us comfortable, entertained, occupied and fed at the open aired theater.
It was easy getting around because there is covered walkways throughout the resort. The shows were very good too. Some I liked more than others but they do a good job of trying to appeal to everyone.
If we had any problems this week
It was only with Mother Nature.
