„The house was perfect for our beach vacation needs. The host was available through the app and very helpful. The kitchen was stocked with the essentials. And the fireplace in the front was perfect.“

„We stayed at Ocean Sands for a week to celebrate a wedding in the family. We had 16 adults and the house was perfect! It is definitely worn and tired in spaces but it truly did not matter. Everything was clean, the location was spectacular, beach access was so simple, communication with the property manager was excellent, house sleeps everyone well, great layout for large group, pool and hot tub were a big hit along with the fireplaces. „What a fabulous home for our family of 10 to stay!! We had a couple of minor issues but April was great in getting back to us quickly. the pictures on the site are great but doesn't show how really good the pool area is. We had 5 kids age 9 to 18 and they totally enjoyed the backyard from going down the slide all day long to seeing the Sea World fireworks every night from the top of the slide area. This will definitely be our go to home if and when we return to the San Diego Area. “

„The unit is in a great location. I wanted to do water sports and it’s only a 5 minute walk to rent kayaks, paddle boards etc in the bay. I think it’s a pretty good value considering the location to everything which is very walkable. If you are traveling with a partner, it might be a little tight space wise for more than a few days. If you’re solo it’s a pretty great option. “

„The house is situated on a very safe cul-de-sac next to military housing. The rooms and closets were very spacious and the house came equipped with everything we needed for a toddler and infant, plus two dogs. Grocery stores are five minutes away and the beach is about ten minutes away. There were a few broken things upon arrival: one of the closet doors in front of the dryer and a towel rod in the downstairs bathroom. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and will consider renting again. “

„We are so thankful for the hospitality from our host, the property and our time spent there. We enjoyed our time with our little family, absolutely adored the home and thoroughly enjoyed hanging out in the backyard "Oasis"! While we did explore lots of La Jolla and the San Diego Zoo, we opted for most of our relax time at the property. All of the communication and arrangements were much appreciated and went so smoothly. „Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This Bird Rock location is perfect - great shopping and food in La Jolla and just a few blocks to Pacific Beach! Close freeway access makes everything in the San Diego area easily accessible. The cozy studio felt spacious, thanks to its vaulted ceilings and skylights. Parking on the street was close and easy. Highly recommend! “

„The location was great. A short walk to the beach and at the south point of Mission Beach it's a quiet area. There is a great view of the bay. The property was clean and had everything we needed. Any questions were answered right away by phone and text. We were able to walk to Belmont Park within 20 minutes. “

„Property was just what we needed close to the beach /dog beach and rooms. The bottom room is basically its own tiny apartment which was great for our teens. Only side note i would add is that some inside doors was a little struggle to lock but not a major issue as a family. The host was also super kind enough to order some utensils since we did jot have enough. “
