„Staff were very friendly and helpful, though it is easier to communicate if you speak some Spanish. The rooms are lovely and clean and having breakfast on the beautiful terrace is just great. There is a little living room to relax in plus a small garden with a tiny pool. The breakfast is very good and enjoyable. Location is excellent too. This hotel is absoloutely to be recommended.“

„We stayed in 3 different hotels in Antigua and Chez Daniel is the best. The rooms are big and nicely decorated. They have a lovely garden and a rooftop with volcano view. Ohhh and they have proper hot shower!!!! We enjoyed the French + Guatemalan breakfast a lot. Daniel and Maria Elena were really nice hosts, they greeted every guests in the morning. You can get good local tips about nice places to visit in & around Antigua. The restaurants they recommended were AMAZING!!! Chez Daniel will be ...

„I loved the fact that the property had a very colonial feel/sight to it. The property was within walking distance of the famous Arch, City Center, and restaurants. The area was quite safe, and guests really got a feel for what it must have felt like to live there during the Spanish invasion of Guatemala. “

„Staff was incredibly welcoming and nice. Let us drop our bags early, and when we returned to check in, they had already put our bags in our room. They also took care of ordering a taxi for us to get to the airport at 3:00 a.m. with honest prices and right on time. It was a great stay at the end of an amazing adventure. “
