The elevators worked flawlessly, the staff spoke English and were very friendly and unlike Copacabana and Ipanema, the beach is also much cleaner and a lot quieter. Of course, if you want to be asked every 15 minutes, whether you want to buy a bracelet or something, there is nothing wrong with Copacabana. This is not the case at all on Sao Conrado Beach.
