„Our family had all gathered in Petersburg to lay one of our family members to rest in the community they grew up in. None of us lived in Petersburg so we opted to find a place large enough to hold our entire family. The place is most suitable for adults and there are stairs to get to any of the bedrooms or bathrooms so be sure you can walk up and down stairs. “

A great example of adaptive reuse architecture, this old store in historic Petersburg has been turned into living quarters that are modern and comfortable while retaining the character of the past. We're heavy sleepers so the night festivities didn't bother us one bit & earplugs are provided! The carpet was dirty, there were roaches present, the room did not have a table similar to the one in the photo, the bathroom did not even have a roll of toilet paper. When I asked for extra towels, we were told none were available. Like the old saying goes, 'you get what you pay for'.“
