„Great spot if you're visiting the area and want to be a little outside of the city but still close by. In the summer, it gets a bit hot upstairs and the doors to those rooms are very narrow, but otherwise a great and comfy house! “

„The house is a three bedroom fully finished home. Two bedrooms upstairs, and a spacious primary suite at the bottom level with a half bath (sink toilet no shower). Main bathroom is upstairs. Backyard is great for kids, it has a playground and corn hole. My only minor complaint is that the kitchen sink was difficult to set to cold, and I love to drink ice cold water. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends in the area, 9/10 would stay again “

„Captain Ron is absolutely the most wonderful host. It is an older boat with a retro 70s style! That is where the charm is for me! Any issues with being an older boat are way out-weighed by the charm of the boat, the beautiful natural area and a wonderful and interesting host! Sitting on the front of that boat, looking out across the water, the rest of the world melts away! I would say if you are a larger sized person, you would have difficulty getting up and down the stairs to the different ...

„Very quiet, although we were initially and then sporadically met with the sound of gunshots during our stay. But the house was well sound proofed, so we weren't bothered while we were inside. The porch was fantastic, and the lake was great for swimming. “

„Great spot one of the nicest spots I’ve stayed in. 20 minutes from Richmond great restaurants in the area. Super clean right near the river James. If we ever go back to that area again, I will definitely look to stay at this house.“

„We only stayed as a brief overnight stay. The little apt was perfect for what we needed. The horse farm property is absolutely gorgeous and I wish I could have looked around more.“

„Everything was accurate with the listing. The only thing that was an issue was parking for three cars forced us into the neighbors area on the street since the drive way was inconvenient and off a main road. The yard gate was loose and off centered which was solved by us wrapping rope to prevent our dogs from leaving but may be an issue for less prepared individuals.“

„My wife and I came to visit for her birthday. We had a great time and the house was great for this purpose. Everything was clean and the location was great for venturing to different parts of town easily and quickly.A heads up to visitors (and nothing the host can fix), locals speed down the street in front of the house. Be advised if you come with kids, and keep pets on a short leash. “
