„Room was filthy, dust, dirt and cobwebs. Bathroom smelt like poo. Sink leaked. Entire room smelt of damp. Bed atrocious. The pillows were flat as pancakes and very old. Fridge didn't work. Staff friendly.“

„Great location for Matlock Bath illumination. Hotel has an Indian restaurant which was popular but we had already booked elsewhere. The hotel is generally clean and tidy but some aspects of cleaning could be improved. The shower doors and bathroom floor would have benefited from a better clean. Good parking facilities on site and friendly staff. Hotel is a bit tired but places to stay in Matlock bath with parking are limited. All in all, good value for money.“

„ganz tolles Hotel sehr gerne kommen wir wieder,“

„Roads were very narrow getting to the hotel. Give yourself plenty of time! Bathroom not great, bodged fixtures.“

„Lots of accommodation option in separate estate cottages attached to the pub“

„Camera pulita“

„Okay for a short stay. Little bit of tlc was needed throughout, otherwise all ok“

„Friendly staff, good food, easy parking and very reasonably priced,“

„Quiet and clean “

„no complaints just our room stunk of cigarettes“

„Lovely home cooked breakfast and comfortable room. Best bathroom stayed in so far as was really spacious with separate shower cube and bath - a real treat. Staff very friendly and thoughtful.“
