„We had a wonderful week staying at Rowan Tree Cottage with our two teenage daughters.This property is immaculately clean and Jane puts a lot of thought into her guests stay with the cottage being well stocked in basics and to top that off a wonderful welcome basket, fresh milk and a home baked cake The cottage is very well placed in a peaceful village but nothing is too far away. We had a great time exploring the Peak District and would definitely stay here again.Thank you so much X“

„Lovely room, perfect for relaxing after a day out walking. Chosen because it was dog friendly and it did not disappoint - good for walking into town and loved that there was a map showing us how to get there by avoiding the main road. Breakfasts were delicious! Thank you for our stay.“

„A really lovely place to stay. Was spotless and the stay was very comfortable.The only thing that i can fault was there are hidden charges. I was asked to pay 50 per person for the additional 2 beds 2 days before we go. Charges like this should be included at time of booking not just before your holiday. Especially when the details on the invoice stated all fees had been paid.Also the hot tub cost is confusing to me, with all the extra charges considering its there all the time.“

„The cottage is small, but perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is a great starting point for various trips to the surrounding area. We had a great time and would recommend it to everyone! Just one thing: the last few yards to the cottage are on a rather steep hill (hence "Hillside") and it can be a bit tricky to park your car there. You'll need to ascend the last few yards up to the cottage, but if you're reasonably fit, it shouldn't be a problem.“
