Chris u Tanja sind sehr freundlich u ermöglichen Sonderwünsche, zB ein Zustellbett, da wir uns einfach nicht an die englischen durchgehenden Matrazen in den Doppelbetten gewöhnen können. Es gibt kurze Wanderungen in Castleton u natürlich längere herrliche übers Land. Total schön!“

„The location is great, yes the kitchen is outside, but its not a deal breaker, the kitchen was clean and tidy, previous comments suggested no heating in the bathroom, this wasn't the case, the property has full central heating and the water was very hot. Yes the decor is a little dated, but we used the property as a base, and weren't there to rate the standard of decor. Yes, the kitchen would benefit from an airfryer but again the fact that they didn't have one didn't spoil the trip. Would I use ...

„Stayed here over the Christmas 2023 for 7 nights. As many reviewers have commented, the property is furnished to a high standard, with particularly comfortable beds. „Perfectly located large house-ideal for a very large party of family or friends, both adults and children. Free parking on the street. One bedroom on the ground floor so ideal for someone who can't get up the stairs. Plenty of crockery etc in the kitchen.“

„Für 2 Personen wäre es mir zu eng gewesen. Jeden Tag Bett zusammenklappen ... und dann wohin mit Bettzeug, wenn der Kleiderschrank voll ist (Schubladen waren schon bei Ankunft voll)? So hab ich das Bett ausgeklappt gelassen uns mich drumherumgeschlängelt. Wenn man beim Wandern nass geworden ist, wird es noch knapper mit dem Platz. Wohin mit feuchter Kleidung? Kurz: alles sehr schön und cosy aber man muss wissen, dass es eng wird. Ich hab mich aber sehr wohl gefühlt.“
