Ausgezeichnet Lage, schöne Zimmer. Nachdem an zwei Tagen der Zimmerservice nicht erfolgte, reagierte der Manager sehr kulant mit einer großzügigen Ermäßigung auf den Zimmerpreis.

Ich habe das Hotel nach einer sehr langen Suche im Internet gebucht. Ich habe meinen Geburtstag mit meiner Familie dort verbracht und es sollte ein echtes Erlebnis werden. Ich habe 2 Deluxe Zimmer mit Deluxe Doppelbett gebucht. Ein Zimmer für meine Frau und Tochter und ein Zimmer für mich und meinen Sohn (16y, aber 1,87m groß). Einige Tage bevor wir ankamen, erhielt ich eine E-Mail vom Hotel, dass ich ein Upgrade kaufen kann, was ich sofort bestätigte. Ich habe eine Bestätigungs-E-Mail für beide Räume erhalten. Die Vorfreude war entsprechend groß. Als wir dann eingecheckt haben, wurde mir gesagt, dass das Upgrade nicht gegeben werden kann. Ich war enttäuscht und fragte, warum. Ich habe doch eine E-Mail-BESTÄTIGUNG HABE. Der Rezeptionist sagte mir „Ja, aber hast du auch bezahlt??„???" Wenn ich eine schriftliche Bestätigung erhalte, erfolgt die Zahlung sofort oder später. Hauptsache die Email sagt "CONFIRMED" Die Hotelmitarbeiterin sagte mir „nein“ und tut mir leid, dass wir ausgebucht sind. Ich kann Ihnen einen Gutschein für ein Softdrink oder ein Bier pro Zimmer anbieten. Unfassbar. (confirm heisst, dass das Zimmer nun gebcht ist) Als wir uns auschecken wollten, sagte mir der Rezeptionist, dass das einzige, was zu bezahlen ist, ein Extra und die Upgrades. Das Extra: ich hatte mit "großes Frühstück" gebucht und während des Frühstücks wurde mir gesagt, dass ich extra für Capucino und Espresso bezahlen muss. ich kann es nicht fassen. der Geburtstag war nicht schön

Conveniently located across from Windsor Castle, this comfortable hotel is being downgraded because of an electrical problem in our room that forced us to change rooms at 11pm and of continual malfunctions with room keycards. Concierge staff was first rate as were night staff. This is a cashless hotel - cards only.

The hotel is nice but basicm bedroom, restaurant and parking available. There is no fitness room, pool and other extras you can expect in in a four star hotel. The hotel is a comb8nation of older building, which make it difficult for people with mobility issues, a number of small sets of stairs, narrow elevator and more. Don't misunderstand, you can get around, but the layout of the building has its challenges that you do not have in modern hotel buildings. The hotel is right opposite Windsor Castle, in the very centre of Windsor and 400 meter from the so-called Long Walk. 3.5 kilometer, just over 2 miles, you have Windsor Castle Farm Shop where you can have a simple lunch and buy products made from ingredients grown on the extensive Royal grounds.

If you are going to Windsor, this is THE hotel to YOU have to stay at. We were here for two nights and we were able to walk around the town shopping, we looked at the castle, which is literally just across the road. Cafes, restaurants, clothes shops, pubs, bookstore are within walking distance. The hotel has many beautiful seating areas around the quiet reception. The service is very pleasant and helpful, and we found the whole area to be that way. And the hotel is only 15-20 minutes from Heathrow Airport. We will definitely travel here again!

Our room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and had a great shower. The location was awesome, but the parking with our car was difficult. Better parking instructions would have made our stay less of a hassle. The food was very good.

An absolute fantastic stay. The staff just couldn’t do anymore to make our stay memorable. The only complaints really is the cost of breakfast & to park. At £24 per person the breakfast was way over priced and with a Wetherspoons literally 2 mins walk away then that’s where I’d be going next time. Also £40 to park the car. Again extremely expensive. Other than that a fantastic hotel a stones throw from the castle and everything Windsor has to offer

Loved it! Beautiful hotel in perfect location next to Windsor Castle! Comfortable beds, nice rooms, all the amenities including breakfast buffet! Staff were super friendly too. We loved walking around as tons of shops and restaurants next door and nearby.

Good points of the Hotel were: Clean modern room, and corridor areas. Quiet and very little disturbance. Large vestibule and bar areas. Complimentary breakfast. Bad points were: Coffee machine with no coffee pods. No seat for the shower area. Reception staff member prioritising their mobile phone over their customer whilst attempting check in...Very rude. Overall, a good Hotel in the heart of Windsor, with several slight improvements required. Four Stars....

Great stay
Very clean and nice hotel, room was big enough, comfortable and quiet. Bathroom was clean, shower was powerfull. Everthing you could need. Breakfast was plentifull and good quality. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpfull.
