„First of all we do not recommend a trike bike for the trail ride. Go with two wheels. There are a few stories to tell but I wont go there. The house was great. Beautiful location! Very clean, stocked with just about everything you need. The pool wasn’t officially opened when we stayed at house but we were able to take advantage and spend our first afternoon hanging by the pool. The only suggestion I have is putting TVs in the bedrooms.“

„Saddle View is everything described in the listing and much more. The Manor is very well appointed, the owners have thought of everything needed to make a stay at the Manor enjoyable and memorable. There are so many amenities, we couldn't work everything in this trip but hope to return and at least relax in the huge tub in the master and enjoy a calm evening on the back porch. „Nice location in proximity of West Jefferson and Lansing. The Lansing Creeper Trail Park was nice (go to the other side of the creek for a more rustic walk) and Mount Jefferson State Park Luther Rock spur had some fantastic views. „This property was exactly as listed. It was very comfortable and cozy. Everything was super clean. The owner was also available if needed. The location was very good, and there was a cafe which served breakfast and lunch with a very welcoming staff. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.“

„Nice sized lodge for family gathering. Plenty of room, great sitting area on front porch. Nicely planted flower beds around lodge, attracted hummingbirds and butterflies. Only the most basic amenities provided. I definitely would recommend using a 4-wheel drive to access the property. Any vehicle low to the ground could bottom out.“

"POSITIV Schönes, historisches Hotel im Zentrum der Kleinstadt Marion, VA Gemütliches, sauberes Zimmer mit historischem Charme. Freundliches Personal ZU VERBESSERN Auch als historisches Hotel würden einige Auffrischungen und Renovierungen nicht schaden. Gläser statt Plastikbecher auf dem Zimmer wäre toll. Gäste im Nebenzimmer durch Verbindungstür laut zu hören. Treppenstufen, um zur Lobby (ab dort Lift) zu kommen, bei schwerem Gepäck unbequem. Frühstück zwar kostenlos, aber viel zu einfach und nichts frisch, Frühstücksraum nicht schön. Klimaanlage im Zimmer sehr laut. "

"I don’t understand the positive feedbacks. The hotel is old and run down. In the gym, none of the equipment works properly. Sofa in room was torn in several places. Mirrors were really dirty. TV is old and picture quality is poor. I wouldn't stay here again"
