„Das Hotel ist in keinem guten Zustand. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals gleicht es aber mehr als aus. Wir wurden ausgesprochen freundlich und persönlich empfangen und verabschiedet. (Unser) Nichtraucherzimmer war wohl einmal ein Raucherzimmer, denn es hatte leider einen leicht muffigen Geruch (nicht direkt nach Zigarettenrauch). „The property is so beautiful. We walked the trails several times a day. Our dogs had a great vacation. They loved the freedom of the place. We heard the flying squirrels and were lucky enough to have one float past the window. Nearby we enjoyed the Grayson Highlands State Park. We did a short hike and got to see some wild ponies. The home is beautifully decorated and you can tell the owner wants you to have a great experience.“

„This is an absolutely beautiful cabin with great proximity to Grayson Highlands State Park and surrounding open space. We did several stunning hikes during our stay, and only wished we had more time. The cabin is spotless, and feels like it’s brand new. It has everything you need, including super fast WiFi. The natural setting of the cabin is beautiful and quiet so we ate every meal outdoors on the porch or around the fire pit. This rental definitely has our top recommendation.“

„My husband and I ran away for Thanksgiving. It's a holiday that stresses me out so away we went. We live in Florida, but my heart belongs to the mountains. This adorable cabin is tucked away in the mountains so you feel secluded. It's 400sqft of just right. We loved the decorations and look. Unfortunately most of our plans got rained out, but certainly not anyone's fault and we made do. Would recommend this cute little cabin to anyone.“

„When viewing the property from outside driving up, it is shocking. Looks like an abandoned cabin. That’s for tax assessment purposes. Inside is immaculate! The cabin itself is located within close proximity to a couple of other cabins. It was well laid out, with primary bedroom downstairs and loft with twin beds. „It was very quiet and peaceful at night and during the day as well. It was nice to have a dishwasher in a cabin. We drove to Grayson Highlands and hiked 2 different days. "POSITIV Schönes, historisches Hotel im Zentrum der Kleinstadt Marion, VA Gemütliches, sauberes Zimmer mit historischem Charme. Freundliches Personal ZU VERBESSERN Auch als historisches Hotel würden einige Auffrischungen und Renovierungen nicht schaden. Gläser statt Plastikbecher auf dem Zimmer wäre toll. Gäste im Nebenzimmer durch Verbindungstür laut zu hören. Treppenstufen, um zur Lobby (ab dort Lift) zu kommen, bei schwerem Gepäck unbequem. Frühstück zwar kostenlos, aber viel zu einfach und nichts frisch, Frühstücksraum nicht schön. Klimaanlage im Zimmer sehr laut. "
