„We had a great stay and the location was very close to Oban which was convenient. However the kitchen was very lowly stocked. Generally with our previous experience with vrbo, there was at least some oil for cooking, which was not the case here. Also, the toilets work very poorly and required flushing 3+ times for even a minimal amount of toilet paper which was a bit stressful.“

„The cottage was clean, cozy, and much larger than I expected! It was in a fairly out of the way location (but not far at all from Oban) that was great for avoiding city traffic. Our host Maureen was very nice and friendly and If/when we travel back to Scotland, and plan on visiting Oban, we would happily stay here again.“

„Great modern open-plan architecture. The kitchen, the living room and the dining room were essentially one big room with beautiful interior that reminded us of a boutique hotel. Everything was spotless and squeaky clean including the modern bathrooms. washing machine, dryer and dishwasher are all included and are also well maintained and of the latest model. „The cottage is in such a beautiful setting, there’s a bluebell meadow right outside the back door. There’s also a great dog field just a few minutes walk from the door. Very handy to give the dog a run around after a long drive! The cottage is very clean and tidy inside and very cosy. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the log burner as the weather was too nice - not something to complain about though I suppose! We will definitely look to come back in the near future. “

Nach Dunoon sind es nur 10 Minuten und auch in den Argyll-Forest und zu vielen darin angesiedelten Wanderungen ist es nicht weit, bzw sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Haus entsprach leider nicht dem Standard welchen wir von den Bildern vermutet hatten. Alles war handwerklich eher im schwierigen Zustand.
