Thomas, Thank you so much for your kind words and feedback. Unfortunately, the Marriott housekeeping will not clean the privately owned units, which is why we have a private company. You were checking in the same day another guest checked out (the past guests did not leave the condo in the best condition), and my cleaners were short-staffed to get it done in time. I sincerely apologize for the delay for the unit to be ready. You did have access to all the amenities from 10 am when you arrived at the resort (like the pools, beach, bathrooms, etc.). And I offered to give you access to the unit while they were finishing up so you could put away your groceries and belongings. Because of the delay, I also offered you a late check out to make up for it! Again, I appreciate your feedback and look forward to hosting you again in the future!

Jean Skou, I appreciate your feedback and the 3 am review. All of the photos provided on this listing are taken from the unit. This condo is located on the beach but has mostly Intracoastal views (like the photos). The private residence units are million dollar and up condos that rent out with a six-month minimum. This unit is not a “hotel room.” This condo is 1,300 sq feet and has a kitchen, laundry room, and a large wrap-around balcony located in the unit. There are valet and self-parking at the resort for an additional charge. This is clear in the listing, and many of my guests will Uber and insta cart to avoid the added fee. When I received this review, I felt confused and disappointed by your words. The messages I received from Lasse (your husband) had very nice things to say about your stay. Lasse messaged me, “the condo is nice and very clean” he also mentioned that your family wanted to stay again for a longer time and that this “trip was too short.” Weeks after your stay, I received your review and called your husband's number provided by VRBO. He answered the phone and said that he enjoyed the unit and was confused by the call. Then he put you on the phone. When I asked you about the review and specifically about the “broken furniture,” you said, “the lamp was crooked in the living room,” and when I asked about the other negative things, you told me to “just delete the review” then abruptly hung up. I work very hard to ensure my guests are having a nice vacation. If they are unhappy, I would like an opportunity to make it right! Telling me everything is okay then weeks later, writing a bad review is disingenuous and hurtful. -Marina
