Your Search Is Over!
If you are looking for an amazing Sanibel condo in extreme close proximity to the beach, this is the one! We couldn’t believe how amazing Walter’s condo was. We were very satisfied with how Sanibel Holiday Rentals went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect! Shelling was great right on our beach. Beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas are provided. The condo was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. We stopped at Publix to pick up groceries before going on island but found that Jerry’s Grocery had anything else that we needed, even No Natz bug spray! Their meat department was impressive and they will even steam shrimp for you. Thank you to Walter and Sanibel Holiday for ensuring that our week was magical! We will be back to stay here again.

What a view!!
Walt and Debbie were fabulous hosts! Their condo has been newly renovated with all new appliances and everything we needed to make our stay comfy and relaxed. It was spotless! Great communication--immediate response when we had a question.The view from the window and screened-in lanai is spectacular--ocean view and at night we kept the slider open. The ocean waves lulled us to sleep! Easy walk downstairs and amazing shells everywhere! Biking is easy on the island and many wonderful restaurants and shops are open for business. Thanks for a delightful week away from the chaos of everyday life!

Fantastic Oceanfront Condo
We had a wonderful relaxing vacation and would highly recommend staying here. The beachfront location is perfect with a lanai to enjoy morning sunrises and full ocean views! The unit is fully equipped with everything you need for a beach home and was recently renovated with a brand new kitchen and flooring throughout. We can’t wait to visit again!!!

Best Family Vacation Spot Right on the Beach
My two kids, my husband, and I had the best time at this condo. Such a fantastic vacation spot. It was so incredible clean and beautiful- and so close to the beach we fell asleep to the surf sounds every night ❤️ Being steps away from the beach was great for our kids. We hardly had to leave the condo complex. The pool was beautiful as well. We are so grateful to Walt and Debbie - they were so accessible for all our questions and delivered on everything they promised and more. Thank you thank you to the two of them and we can’t recommend this condo enough to anyone else. It was truly a beautiful, surf sound spot!

Very Disappointed. Unit 122
We arrived to a broken dishwasher and then 4/7 days of our stay they were painting the entire building exterior where we had rented. There was paint tarps, buckets of paint, taped windows including our own. The painters had a loud four story crane and generators going from 9am-5pm for FOUR days. At times use of the elevator and stairwell were non accessable. For three days we had to park farther away in guest parking because their trucks and equipment blocked all the spots in front of our building. Then everyday when my wife would come back for lunch from the beach there she had to maneuver through the painters or saw them laying on floor during their breaks. I honestly don’t blame the painters as the place should have never been rented in those conditions. There seemed to be no one in either of the two buildings except us so someone knew not to rent or go to those units. At no point was I even notified of this prior to arriving. Overall you could tell the place was nice but not at all the week we were there. I complained almost immediately and was told they weren't even supposed to be painting our building that week. How they rented that place to us without notifying us is unacceptable. Then offering us to refund only approximately 1/7 of the weekly amount charged. I found this to be grossly unfair but I didn't want to argue the point any further as it was upsetting my wife. This is NOT at all what we expected our family vacation to Sanibel to be like. As such we were overall VERY disappointed.☹️.

As I said, I’m very sorry that happened. That’s why we provided your partial refund and gift certificate. We were told the painters would move along quickly and hardly be noticed, like the last time there was painting. Clearly that was not the case and I apologize. We understand how precious one’s vacation time is, and strive to avoid surprises like that. Best regards.

The VIEW!
We couldn't have asked for a more perfect view! Being beach front provided beautiful sunrises every morning and an easy walk to the beach. The condo was clean and exactly as described. The location at the east end of Sanibel was great. Check in was easy, and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

The beach view was outstanding both on the porch and in the living room space. It is very open and spacious. Everything worked well except the louver door to master bedroom as well as sliding guest shower door we’re off track which was a little scary in the bathroom. Great Getaway
This property was very nice. It was well equipped with anything you might need. The location and view were great. They could use an update on the living room furniture, it was not very comfortable to sit on. And the tv's were small, larger tv's would be nice. Other than that it was a great place to have our family beach getaway.

Good Condo, great location, cleanliness issues
Our stay at Loggerhead Cay was nice and relaxing, but it got off to a rocky start when we arrived to find some cleanliness issues. Although there had been surface cleaning and restocking of the condo, we arrived to find stains in the refrigerator, grime on the floor around the refrigerator, drip marks on the kitchen cabinets, cobwebs on the light fixture, toothpaste splatter on the pictures in the master bath, and quite a thick layer of dust on several surfaces. Although a deeper cleaning probably can't happen every week between renters, it appeared to have not happened in quite some time and caused us to doubt and question the cleanliness of everything. This was not the welcome we expected or paid for, especially after driving for two days and looking forward to relaxing at the beach. We did call the after-hours number because it was 6pm on Saturday, and we left a message. However, no one ever returned our call about this, so we ended up doing some cleaning ourselves. Once we cleaned, we were able to relax, and this condo really was comfortable and a decent size for our family of 6. The location with its view of the ocean was wonderful. The complex was quiet and not overly crowded. Both the pool and the beach were peaceful, and the water was mostly calm. There were so many shells! We also enjoyed the screened-in porch, the beach chairs and the beach cart. Compared to other condos we have rented, we thought the pots & pans and cooking gear was limited, flimsy and in need of replacement. Also, as others have said, the accordion doors on the master bedroom with open slots and no lock did not provide much privacy or areas for people to have some space. If you enjoy nature, we highly recommend Lovers Key State Park. It was a 40 minute drive from the condo, driving through Ft. Myers Beach. We kayaked to see manatees and dolphins, and at the beach found starfish and some really large live clams and mollusks, including an amazing conch shell. Pick up the New York style pizza from Citrola's on McGregor on your way back to the island … it was fantastic! Overall we had a nice stay with only the (pretty big) disappointment at our arrival. Hopefully this can be addressed for future renters.

Relax Rejuvenate and Return
Four high school graduates celebrating their 50th reunion. Booking was easy to find and easy to finalize. This made the start of our trip uplifting and gave the promise that all would fall into place. Corresponded with both the owner and booking agent. Arrived to find everything just perfect!! The condo, the area and the beach. No rowdy or loud neighbors.. We will give this place an A+ and will be returning.

Enjoyable experience. Kitchen was very well stocked for meal prep which we did several times. I thought the.carpet in living area should be replaced. It just was dirty looking. Why not do a vinyl plank or tile? Then you know it is clean between renters. Also, for heavens sake, supply more tp. To pay as much as we did and not have enough tp. Really???

Joyce, we are very sorry about the carpet condition. My apologies. That’s a surprise because it was cleaned just two weeks earlier. I’ve already put in a call to get a new cleaning ASAP. Upper floor condos like ours are prohibited from putting in hard surface flooring by Condo regulations intended to prevent noise transmission. I’m so sorry you ran out of TP. Did you call our management company? That’s what they’re there for. We go to that considerable expense for the convenience of our guests. But we are happy you had an overall nice experience. Great property ! Totally quiet non busy or crowded location but less than 5 minutes to mainland bridge and restaurant area. The gulf view from 2nd floor screened porch is fantastic. I really can't see how you can get a closer gulf property in such an ideal location. Condo clean, cable, all amenities.

Much needed family time
We enjoyed our stay in Sanibel so much. We have twins that are in college and this was the last week of their summer before heading back to school. We couldn't have had a better time! Due to all the COVID distancing we were able to order take out every night and have a family dinner on the lanai looking at the water. The only bad part about this vacation rental was having to leave! It was perfect!! Thanks for having us this was a family vacation we will never forget.

LOVELY OCEAN FRONT CONDO
Very nice 2 bedroom 2 bath corner unit on 2nd floor with patio facing the ocean & courtyard, perfect for watching the sunrise. Clean. Easy to work with the owner and the property management company. Most importantly, to us, they let us bring our two small, well-behaved dogs. Sanibel is a wonderful vacation spot for families, safe, lots of bike/walking trails. Easy/convenient to rent kayaks, SUP boards, bikes, trail-a-longs for kiddies, etc. The only negative thing about the unit was the hall bathroom vanity cabinet door was messed up/needs repair. But that didn't prevent us from enjoying the unit.

Amazing Vacation
We loved everything about this condo. The property manager greeted us with kindness and enthusiasm about the area upon check-in. The owners left an ample supply of anything we might need for the bedroom, bath, kitchen, and even beach chairs and umbrella! The location is great. You’re not too far from great restaurants, grocery stores, or the causeway if your plans include Fort Myers or elsewhere. When in the room we stayed on the screened in lanai which gave us a gorgeous view of the gulf. The pool was wonderful, too, always an empty chair with the option of laying in the shade. We hope to be back and definitely recommend this condo!

The room have been cleaner. Tile floors needed mopped, sime silverware in the drawer was dirty, there were fresh stains on one couch cushion and on the sheets in the master bedroom. However the view was spectacular from the room. Was nice that bikes and some beach equipment were provided. Management was very friendly.

Brandi, I am very sorry. That was not acceptable and won’t happen again. I'm told there was a fill-in cleaning staff due to illness. But our Inspector should have found these issues too, and we are disappointed with that. We have told them they need to address these shortcomings and prevent a repeat. Amazing Direct Gulfview and a Condo With Everything You Need!
My husband and I took my Mom down to Sanibel for a week getaway. We have been coming down for 12 years now and wanted my Mom to see the places we always talk about. This was our first time staying in this particular condo. We selected it because it was pet friendly, the view of the water, the porch and the fact that it had two bedrooms and baths. It exceeded our expectations. The condo was perfect with everything there we could ever think of including games and puzzles for a rainy afternoon and our stay was wonderful. Thank you so much!

Fantastic views and accommodations.
Nice personal touches from the owners you can tell it is more than just an income property to them. They have thought of many of the extras meaning beach chairs umbrellas and even bicycles to use while on the island. We would return to this condo anytime we would be at Sanibel very comfortable and very pleased with this rental. Condo facility and grounds were excellent also the heated pool was great

Nice unit but we left 5 days early due to beach full of dead fish and illness
This unit is very nice, with lots of room, big patio, clean and close to the beach. Unfortunately, the beach was covered with dead fish and sea snakes, and the air was bad with respiratory bacteria. This made the beach, the patio, even the pool unusable as we couldn't even go outside without all coughing uncontrollably. If you are heading to Sanibel be sure to do all the research you can to save yourself a long trip and your money. The rental company and the local news weren't talking and the news was downplaying the impact in parts of the island other than the lighthouse. All of it was disgusting. We basically paid for a week at a beautiful beach and got 2 days on a beach that looked like a plague hit it. Obviously not something that is the owner's control but it would have been nice to have been given some warning before driving 12 hours to such a mess. We got no warning and were offered nothing. If you can confirm the beach isn't a disaster, then this would be a good place to stay.

Perfect Condo for Families
Not only was this condo incredibly clean and modern, but it also offered pretty much everything our family needed for the week. In addition to a fully stocked kitchen, the condo had beach chairs, towels, some beach toys, and more - even bikes for us to use. It's steps away from the beach and has a fantastic pool, so we could enjoy some time on the sand and also bring our young daughter in the pool as she's just starting to learn to swim. We had a fantastic week in this condo and are grateful to Debbie and Walt for letting us stay - hoping we can book again next year!
