The staff that checked me in was rude to another guest asking a question, and she in a big hurry checking me in although there was no one else in line. The room was very comfortable and clean except the toilet was left open seat up. No glass cups, only plastic and paper. No complimentary water. It would be a huge improvement if doors closed quietly instead of slamming shut. The bed was very comfortable and because I brought a sound machine I was able to sleep off jet lag in disturbed. I like that they offer a shuttle to/from the airport but it’s every 45 minutes and confusing which Hilton shuttle to take. Too bad property is next to power towers that ruin the location but there’s several other major hotels here too.

Needed to wait for over 50 minutes until the shuttle arrived. Room was pretty disappointing with cheap furniture, flooring, bedsheets, everything but pleasant. This Doubletree hotel is NOT up to par and won't see me again. The other DT hotel in Burlingame is a 'diamond' compared to this one.

I'd have to say that they had problems with the facilities. The first room was quite warm and was without a functioning air conditioner. It seems that the air conditioning in the older tower doesn't function. The second room in the newer tower had functional air but was the darkest hotel room I have ever been in. One ceiling light near the door and a lamp by the bed. There should have been at least one more light if not two more.

Hello Andy, I am so sorry to read that your stay didn't meet your expectations. While it is true, our rooms do not have boilers to heat water, we do offer the coffee machine to heat water for up to 2 cups. We also have hot water available at our restaurant. If you have a thermos, we are always willing to dispense hot water from our coffee makers in the kitchen.We thank you for your feedback.

I was charged for this too but I did not stay . I asked to cancel five days before our stay. Due to an illness we had to cancel our extended vacation. We did have to rebook a hotel in San Francisco to return home for an earlier date. We choose not to rebook there because of the no cancellation clause. They did get our money but I will not recommend this hotel to anyone .

We are very sorry to hear about your need to cancel. Please work with Expedia. The point of purchase for the room stay was made through Expedia. We cannot change the agreement between you and Expedia at the property level. I really hope this helps.
