Of note, due to train strikes 2 of our trains were canceled or skipped the Cramlington stops so keep an eye on that if you make any appointments that rely on public transport.“

„We had only one night and found a very nice little hotel with very friendly and helpful staff and an excelent breakfast. As we left we got a good tip to spend the day until we had to leave by ferry to Amsterdam: the market at Tynemouth Station! Only limited parking next to the hotel but nearby parking lot and roadside parking.“
