Felt very safe and yet close to times square. I would only suggest to get heavier shower curtain or different shower nozzle as the curtain would blow right on you while you tried to soap up. „The property was exceedingly clean, and mostly convenient to our sightseeing needs. It's about a 15 minute walk to the PATH, which connects to the NYC subway system. The neighborhood isn't terrible, though there are some folks who decide they need to be loud every night right outside the building, until about midnight.
