„Das Hotel VR Rotorua Lake Resort ist etwas außerhalb gelegen, dafür aber sehr schön an einem See. Das Zimmer (Doppelzimmer Gartenblick) war ausreichend groß. Das Bett war leider viel zu weich. Bad mit Dusche war gut. Es gab ausreichend Parkplätze auf dem Gelände. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Restaurant bot auch Abends gute Mahlzeiten. Positiv war das Fitnessstudio, das zwar klein war, aber mit ausreichender Ausstattung. Die Freundlichkeit im Hotel war einwandfrei.“

„Warum diese Unterkunft sich Spa nennt ist mir nicht ganz klar. Gerade das Badezimmer unseres Raumes war sehr vernachlässigt. Schimmel in den Fugen der Dusche, starke Verschmutzung des Duschkopfes und ein schlecht gereinigter Boden im ganzen Bad. Wir fühlten uns nicht wohl. „We had 3 adjacent cabins for an adult family trip. All cabins were spotless and comfortable. The shared kitchen facility was useful for cooking smelly food away from the cabin (bacon) and the bbq was efficient. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was stunning and we had several dips in the lake. We will definitely book again in a future trip. “

Basics for our stay was good. For heating the fireplace wasn't usable and was replaced by fan heaters which we counted about 5 within the house. „This was a return visit and we enjoyed it even more than the 1st time. The property is fantastic, plenty of space and everything you need is there including Kayak which got plenty of use by the teenagers. Tim gave us loads of local activity recommendations which were new and fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days and will definitely return again“

„Such a beautifully presented and spectacularly located holiday home. We had a fantastic time and some much needed rest and relaxation.
