„Cute cottage by the bay! We stayed at the cottage while attending a lacrosse tournament. It was so relaxing and wonderful to have a place to make meals and do up some laundry after a hot day on the fields. Communication with the owners was excellent…we’ve added it to our list of places to stay when we’re out east.“

„What a lovely little cottage! A group of 5 of us stayed here for a wedding in the area. The cottage was everything we could have asked for. It was clean and well maintained. The patio was perfect for enjoying the breeze and the view over the bay. Tony and Janette were lovely hosts and gave great insights into things to do in the area.“

Being first timers to the island, I had several questions that were answered very quickly. The cottage was clean, well stocked (which is important for this type of unique experience) and decorated very cute. The local people were very friendly and we enjoyed the scenery of the island. We will definitely be back!“

„The stay was phenomenal, very serene and peaceful. The location was perfect with access to beach/play areas for the kids. Heather was easy to contact if we needed anything and communicated in a very timely manner. The only complaint we had was that there was a musty smell upon checking in- we did get used to it, but each time we returned after being gone, the smell was back. The bathrooms were clean, beds were comfortable, the kitchen was lovely! We will stay again!“

„The Host was wonderful. Responded quickly to questions before we got there. The place was BEAUTIFUL! We hosted a get together dinner for my son, his wife and her family with our family. There was plenty of room, the kitchen perfect for preparing a Ham dinner. We had 11 people there. Christmas morning, my daughter and I sat on the porch, ate breakfast and read. The beds very comfy, and the views of the Potomac as well as the walking trail inviting. I would go back.“

„This was truly a delight for me and my family! We were in contact with the hosts from the start. There were Christmas decorations and treats/groceries for breakfast so we didn't have to go back out after a long drive. The Grove guest house was lovely and cozy and perfect for a Christmas away from home. A dip in the hot tub on a cold, snowy night will be a great memory for us all. I highly recommend.“
