The property is at walkable distance from train station. Also it is located in the heart of city centre, so all shops and dining places are nearby.

It was very well located but the room lacked a few things: no shampoo or conditioner, no storage space, no bin in the room itself and few plug sockets.

Even though we didn't use the public transports, there were tramsline and bus stop close by. Walking to arndale shopping centre was around 10 minutes

The decor of the hotel interior is lovely and the staff all very friendly. The staff in the adjoining rather small bar/restaurante were also very friendly and the breakfast was very good. Unfortunately the hotel is opposite the bus station so the outlook isn’t great but we enjoyed our stay once we got over the setting!

Second time there, I am a bit difficult to please, but I could not find any problems. I couldn't work the a/c in my room, a member of staff came straight away and explained it to me.

Motel One has very smart interior design that the rooms are small, yet spaces are fully utilized with convenience. The location is great with easy transportation options and close to everything.

Amazing location and affordable hotel. I was on the inner row of rooms so did not have a good view unfortunately. When I arrived there was only one person checking people in and there were 4 people ahead of me, so check-in took a while. I enjoyed the continental breakfast and it's nice to see a healthier breakfast option than fry ups.

Had a couple of nights of rough sleep because of a combination of noisy neighbours and the room getting too hot and stuffy. The staff were absolutely lovely and did everything they could to help, giving me another room to help with the noise, but it's a losing battle against the poor facilities. The thermostat was broken and, when it was fixed on the second day, it turned out that the A/C would turn off automatically in the middle of the night anyway. So I woke up multiple times and tossed around in the *toasty* bedding, turning the A/C back on or opening the window, but then with the window open there was more noise coming from outside as well as smells, which again disturbed my morning sleep. The location is excellent though, lots of public transport, restaurants and other amenities nearby.

We were given a rather dark room but got a much lighter one immediately when we asked. Staff are very friendly. Hotel is clean and very nicely decorated.

Honestly, Motel One exceeded my expectations. I was very impressed overall how clean the hotel was, but more specifically my room. It smelled and looked great, no issues whatsoever. The room itself is a little small, so may not be ideal for multiple people but still great nonetheless. The staff at the front desk and the bar were super friendly and helpful. Shower pressure was great and got nice and warm compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in. Definitely would stay at this hotel again.

Good location, clean and functional rooms. Cafe next door for better value breakfast. Slow check in because guest in front expecting full service hotel travel planning assistance (!) whilst carrying their own smartphone (!!!). Quite loud vibration/noise disturbance during night.
