nicht wirklich ein Hotel eher Bed and Breakfast
Buchung unkompliziert, Empfang kurz aber freundlich. Im Hotel war nicht wirklich jemand anwesend, man ist sehr auf sich alleine gestellt. Das Selbstbedienungsfrühstück war ok, allerdings gab es am zweiten Tag nur noch Brot mit überschrittenem Haltbarkeitsdatum im Kühlschrank. Der Aufenthalt wurde von uns wie gewünscht bei Ankunft bar gezahlt, eine Rechnung/Quittung haben wir nicht erhalten.

Can you beat it? You can't.
Deeply felt thanks – particulary to Ray for his kindness. My 3 nights stay was great in every aspect. A fine accomodation, clean, ditinctivly furnished, on the loose, reasonable price, flat more than well placed. Islington and Dalston are growing and full of relaxed energy day and night. Try Cafe Oto - a place to live in. I will be back. Definitely. Adam

Super Hotel, empfehlenswert
Ich kann das Hotel nur empfehlen. Wir waren zu viert über Silvester da und sind uns einig, dass wir auf jeden Fall wieder kommen würden. Es wurde jeden Tag sauber gemacht, der Kühlschrank war immer gut gefüllt und das Personal war super freundlich. Für den Preis kann man absolut nicht meckern. Gleich in der Nähe sind Bushaltestellen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und kleine Shops. Alles da was man braucht. Daumen hoch.

Tolles kleines Hotel mit nur 4 Zimmern. Freundlicher Besitzer, gute Lage, saubere Zimmer. Ich würde das Hotel gerne an allen weiterempfehlen!

Nice small Hotel - great value for money
Everything is modern, food is provided in a very clean modern communal kitchen, the bathrooms are small but quite nice. I would stay here definitely again.

Gute Lage
Es handelt sich um eine Gästehaus mit insgesamt 4 unterschiedlich großen und ausgestatteten Zimmern, 2 davon müssen sich ein Badezimmer im EG teilen. Frei benutzt werden kann eine Art Wohnzimmer mit angrenzender Küche, W-LAN. Der Kühlschrank ist gut gefüllt, das Frühstück muss man sich selbst zubereiten. Insgesamt ein gutes Pries-Leistungs-Verhältnis (für Londoner Verhältnisse).

Had a lovely stay - were only there for one night but could have easily stayed longer! Lovely room, breakfast options great and everything was clean. Only thing to consider might be location depending on what you’re after when staying in London but it was perfect for us!

Stayed at 'unattended' places before so some trepidation but the information provided by the team was clear concise and worked first time. Quiet room and location which for London was a blessing as I'm a country boy! Highly recommend and would use again if available next time I'm in town!

A lovely place to stay!
My wife and I stayed here for one night at the weekend and were very impressed with the Luxury Inn. The location is great - it’s about 15 mins walk from Highbury and Islington, with a lovely pub (“The Hunter S”) next door. James is a very friendly and helpful host, and the room was spacious and spotless – perfect for a short stay. The lounge/kitchen was fab and although we didn’t have breakfast, there was plenty to help yourselves to if you were hungry. We will definitely be back if seeing a band locally or just want to explore a part of London that we don’t know well!

An affordable luxury!
This boutique hotel was an absolute pleasure. It’s location on a beautiful street in one of the hippest areas of London is just a bonus. The personal service and attention is wonderful. James made sure I was able to easily check in after hours and made me feel so welcome. The room was so stylish, cozy and warm. I highly recommend:)

Great location, perfect for our overnight stay and trip to London...very comfortable room with all you need, self service breakfast with all you could ask for , certainly stay again on our next visit. Staff very helpful and attentive. We were awoken at 3.30 am due to an over zealous late check in, rather handy with the buzzer, so maybe improvement required so people asleep aren’t disturbed so early/late in the night, but otherwise yes an absolute great little place to stay.

Great little hotel, clean, friendly and really comfy bed! Easy walk to the high street with lots of restaurants to choose from. Self service breakfast, tea and coffee in a welcoming upstairs area. Would definitely stay again and definitely recommend it!

I would have given a higher rating except for the fact that the bed was rock hard. Nice lounge area kitchen breakfast area upstairs.The area was convenient for us. No staff around after the housekeeper is done though. We had no issues so that was OK but risky I think. Very small room and TV but we don't spend much time in room.

Hi Laurie Sorry you didn't like the bed and found the room and TV small. That room measures 18 Sq Mts (140 Sq Feet + 50 Sq Feet with the bathroom so its has more space than most double rooms and its size is advertised. The tv is 32 inch which used to be quite big but things change and now not so big but I hadn't thought that until now. I will look into upgrading some feature of the room. Glad that you enjoyed your stay overall though.

Clean, quiet, good value for money
The B&B is on a quiet street and has good bus connections. Communication with the owner was easy despite our booking being last minute. The room was clean, comfortable and a good size. Definitely good value for money in the city/Shoreditch/Dalston or Islington area. I'd stay again

Clean, modern and friendly
The room was clean and modern looking with a nice patio, and the owner and staff friendly and helpful. The only downside was the lack of air-con during a heatwave, and we ended up moving somewhere else, but this is a rare occurrence in London, and any other time I would definitely recommend it.

Luxury may be overstating things
Things didn't start well when I found that the room had been double booked. While the manager said he would find an extra room, the other person kindly said she'd head home and so the problem was solved. Once in, however, the room was lovely and my brief stay effortless. It would be hard to call the Luxury Inn luxurious, but it was certainly very comfortable. Breakfast is self-service in that there is a kitchen at which one takes whatever one fancies as opposed to a mini restaurant.

Hi David Sorry I didn't get to explain during your stay. Your booking came through as an electronic booking. I don't know what that is and have never seen it previously. Also I had no record of any booking email from Expedia. I have queried this with them and still haven't heard back. This is likely to be neither you fault or mine. Coming through a third party there is potential for a communication breakdown but this is rare. Thanks for your feedback and sorry for your inconvenience. James.

Very pleasant, clean and modern.
Very pleasant - was surprised how nice the room is. Apartment style room with a very modern look and feel to it; very very homely. The house is split into 4 rooms, 3 downstairs and 1 upstairs with a large lobby and kitchen. WiFi worked well and there was Netflix available too which was nice. Food/breakfast was available as self service with plenty of variety (continental style) Nice to walk into to kitchen at 10pm to make a nice cup of tea :)

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits a cet hôtel Nous sommes très satisfaits du choix de l'hôtel , nous le suggérons et sans hésitation nous y retournerions C'est un must d'avoir le petit déjeuner car on ne perd pas de temps pour aller visiter et la station de metro Canonbury est à 10 minutes de marche Québécoise satisfaite !

Amazing weekend away with my partner and close enough to the station. Friendly service and homely rooms with complimentary self service breakfast. We are at the local pub next door for both nights and their food was to die for though I reccomend booking a table in advance.

Gem of a find!
Very nice welcome on arrival. Previous contact from owner with great help on local transport for our journey the following day. Everything there that we could possibly want and absolutely no regrets on choosing this inn. Quiet area when the traffic died down and a really nice pub next door with friendly staff and good wholesome food. Definitely recommend here.

Friendly place to stay
It was a relaxed guest house with nice people who were staying there. The guy responsible for looking after the gust house was helpful. We didn't know in advance there was a shared kitchen where we could cook so that was a bit of a dissapointment. The room got a bit too warm at night so had to keep the window open. It was a bit noisy till 1 am as there is a pub nearby. Recommend for longer stay.
