Among the best features is the lift, most of the nearby hotels in the area that are in the same price range don't have a lift. Here in the MitreHouse Hotel it is easy to get yourself and your luggage to the room or et yourself each morning to the breakfast room etc. . I really like the welcoming 24 hour staffed reception (nice atmosphere - I like the decorations, most of all the lion). Staff very friendly and helpful (they exchanged a tv remote control run out of batteries immediately). The corridors are warm and cosy, the room (a junior suite), which was comfortably warm, had nice and useful furniture. As it was a suite, it even came with a refrigerator, which proved handy to store some provisions and some beverages in. The room had a dressing table with a mirror and additional light, a writing desk, a dresser, and a comfortable couch with coffee table - so lots of spaces to use. Queen size bed and nice decor.TV set with a big HD monitor conveniently attached at a space, where it could be watched from almost any place in the room, including from the bed.
I really enjoyed the early breakfast (served between 7 and 9 a.m.), because, after all, if you stay in London, you want to start early and get out to see the sights! I enjoyed that English breakfast is offered / included in the room price (again, most of the nearby hotels in the area that are in the same price range don't offer English breakfast). English breakfast AND cereals AND toasts with marmelade / jam - So yummy !
