„The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. If we had booked direct with the queens head it details the room helvellyn as having issues with noise etc due to it’s proximity to the kitchen. „My stay was short but very enjoyable. It seems the hotel has been recently refurbished. It is stylish, comfortable, functional and has all the little things I appreciate on travels: TV, internet and proper parking space. Full points.“

„Schönes Hotel im Zentrum Amblesides. Freundliches Personal, angenehmes Ambiente, nettes Zimmer, modernes Badezimmer. Kann ich sehr empfehlen!“

„Rustikale charmante Zimmer.

„It was a nice experience. Very well situated, with good service. Really good facial treatments“

„a very faint smell after dogs in my room. the spa had a few tiles that came off and one of the misty showers didn't work. however, the room-upgrade was grate and the food lovely.“
