„The room was pleasant, but the glass door between the bedroom and the toilet and shower area was odd and rather off putting. The bed was comfortable, and we got a good nights sleep. Breakfast was adequate, but the cereal, and other cold buffet items were uninspiring. All in all, a bit dull, particularly since a refurbishment was done in 2019. Ok for a night or two though.“

„Stayed in the newly refurbished Louis room - it was fab. I would rate this excellent but Mon-Fri breakfast has now been downgraded to a continental one and it was OK but not the best. Very carb / sugar based ('normal' sliced bread, cereals, fruit). Tea was weak as was the coffee. i would recommend you add in yoghurt, meat, cheese to ensure some can have a protein based start to the day. There is an attractive dining area but we were in the bar... few tweaks could make a lot of difference “

„The Link Hotel is conveniently located near Loughborough University (from which it also takes the free WiFi access). It is easily accessible through M1 and then a carriageway into town. The hotel itself, however, is very quiet (i.e., despite the good access via car there is no noise pollution from nearby traffic). „My room was on the top floor with a private use bathroom across the corridor frommy room. It was a small shower room with toilet. The shower was OK, but not very powerful. I liked the amenities provided. Shower gel etc and a razor pack in the bathroom, coffee and hot chocolate in the bedroom. Wifi was excellent. If I have to put some small gripes, it would be there was nowhere to sit and work. So not ideal for a business stay. It was on the top floor which is quite a hike and there is no lift, ...
