„I booked hotel on the same day of the stay. It turns out a form must be filled in and completed prior to being allowed in just the hotel reception. Upon finding this detail out as I arrived at the hotel, it was quite the disappointing experience that cannot be matched by having an on site host. Once the information was submitted, followed by a secondary transaction of a significant sum in the reception to act as damage waiver, we were finally granted access to our room. „The property was clean and tidy and couldn't be faulted. The problem was with their check in procedure. Phone a number which took nearly 20 minutes to get answered requiring repeated redialling. After getting the key to the room, it turned out the wrong key had been put in the keysafe box.....so... another phone call to their help desk, this time taking 25 minutes to eventually get answered. Once that was finally sorted out, all in all over 45 minutes, i ended up being late for my appointment ...

„ The Gresham is a beautiful historical building, centrally located, but the interior seemed poor with worn furniture and cheap looking plastic plant decoration everywhere. The furniture in the room seemed stylessly thrown together. „The room was spacious, and provides was a complimentary breakfast and beverages to drink. The ensuite is a nice large size. Car parking can be a bit of a squeeze if there are guests with cars staying in all of the flats. There was good friendly communication with the owner most of the time. The WiFi was working, but for some reason not the smart TV. Maybe a previous guest messed it up. The house is on a good bus route, with a stop across the road and regular buses into Derby city ...
