„My husband and I stayed at this accommodation for 4 nights and had such a pleasant experience. The entire apartment was clean and comfortable, and we loved having access to a kitchen, tub and washing machine after staying in smaller hotels over the course of our trip in Japan. The neighbourhood was very calm and peaceful, yet still walking distance to convenience stores and some amazing restaurants. We didn’t have enough time to use the bikes but were very happy to have had them as an option for ...

„Loved the property and the area.“

„Very spacious for a family of four with two teenagers. The kids wished we could have stayed in this house longer. Definitely a unique experience - different from the typical hotel/apart-hotel stays. The kitchen was well equipped, though we did not have to cook during our stay. There are a couple of convenience stores nearby so you can buy water, etc. Also easily ...

„Very nice experience“

„Amazing location and property. Super helpful hosts.“

„Beautiful house with great design in really great neighborhood. For us it was okay but the stairs were very steep so keep that in mind. The bathroom is outside so not sure how comfortable this is in the winter. But it was a nicely designed bathroom and the foot bath is a great feature after a long day of walking. “

„Absolutely amazing oasis in the heart of crowded Kiyomizu. Beautiful, tranquil, clean guest house with tons of space.“

„Hideo and Yuka were wonderful hosts. Hideo is a great guide and very easy to talk to. The authentic Thatch home was both beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed having coffee every morning while looking out the large windows at the cherry blossum trees. Very nice location away from all the people in Kyoto. Easy 1hr bus ride into Kyoto city. They have a friendly Golden Retriever and a French Bulldog to play with if you like dogs! The Fishmarket excursion was fun and unique with Hideo helping select ...
