Schönes Hotel von 1930 im Stadtzentrum von Saigon. Sehr viel Klasse und Style, sowohl vom Hotel her, wie auch vom Personal. Ich hatte 10 wunderschöne Tage dort und kann mich über nichts beschweren.

Roofbar auf dem neuen Gebäudeteil. Kleiner Pool umgeben von Pflanzen und einem Dreiviertel-Rundgang der jeweiligen Etage im Kolonialstil gehalten. Friseur im Hotel.

Hotel in guter Lage
Super Lage mitten auf der wichtigsten Einkaufsstraße in Saigon. Lobby machte noblen Eindruck. Unser erstes Zimmer war im alten Gebäude, obwohl wir New Wing gebucht hatten. Das Zimmer und die Möbel hatten den Charme der vergangenen Jahre. Es fehlten auch Sitzmöglichkeiten und das Bad ohne Dusche ließ sich nur von innen verschließen. Das Bett war auch sehr hart. Nette Goodies: Obstteller und Wasser kostenlos. Am nächsten Tag reklamierten wir und bekamen ein Zimmer im New Wing wie gebucht. Mr. John erklärte uns zwar, dass schon das erste Zimmer ein Upgrade war und das neue nochmal, aber das wage ich zu bezweifeln. Wobei man erwähnen muss, dass das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit war. Wir durften am Anreisetag das Zimmer auch früher beziehen. Das 2.Zimmer hatte neuere Möbel und war in besserem Zustand, hatte eine Dusche und 2 Sessel. Allerdings hätte ich in einem 5* Haus eine besser regelbare Aircondition erwartet (bliess genau aufs Bett und ging nicht zu verstellen). Wunderschöner Innenhof mit vielen Pflanzen und Pool. Rund um den Pool allerdings grobe Kiesel und lose Fliesen, nicht so schön. Sehr umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet für jeden Geschmack, allerdings jeden Tag gleich. Bei später Abreise konnte man die Dusche im Gym benutzen, Dort keine Bank oder Fön, alles nicht so sauber. Aber Lage und Personal punkten definitiv.

altes Hotel, sehr gepflegt, mitten in der Altstadt, exquisites Frühstück und empfehlenswerte Dachterrasse. War zum 5. mal da. Leider haben die Preise in den letzten 10 Jahren sich verdoppelt.

Wir hatten das Zimmer nr 1012, und es hatte einen Blick auf den Saigon River. Das Frühstück offerierte sehr viele verschiede Sachen. Vom Flughafen her etwa 30 Minuten.

Charmantes Hotel im Kolonialstil am Saigon River
Das Grand Hotel Saigon atmet im Bereich des sog. Ancient Wing den Luxus vergangener Zeiten. Die Zimmer gruppieren sich entlang umlaufender Balkone, die den Blick auf den schönen Pool im Innenhof eröffnen. Unser DeLuxe Zimmer war nett ausgestattet mit dunklem Interieur und Kronleuchter an der Decke - old fashioned und sehr charmant, allerdings nicht besonders groß. Leider sind die Zimmer dort aufgrund der baulichen Gegebenheiten ziemlich hellhörig. Das Haus beherbergte auch größere Gruppen von Bustouristen, weshalb es zu Stoßzeiten (vor 8 Uhr) zu Engpässen im großen Frühstückssaal kam. Die große Auswahl und die Qualität der Speisen waren indes sehr erfreulich. Schöne Roof Top Bar im 20. Stock des Neubaus (Luxury Wing) mit tollem Ausblick auf den Fluß und die Stadt. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Das Hotel liegt mitten im Herz von Saigon. Alles zu Fuss erreichbar. Sehr freundlicher Service und ein sagenhaftes Frühstück, alles was das Herz begehrt.

Top Hotel an bester Lage!
Man erlebt im Grand Hotel und in ganz Vietnam grossartige Gastfreundschaft. Es werden im Hotel preisfaire Ausflüge angeboten, die man buchen sollte. Nicht zu empfehlen sind die zahlreichen Leute die auf der Strasse private Ausflüge anbieten. War beinahe im ganzen Land unterwegs und über die freundlichen Menschen beeindruckt.

Everyone in this hotel where very nice and good people, only one person in front desk need to reminded that this is 5 star hotel and people staying their they are not worry for few dollars at the checkout. His name was Harry and look like he was working for big accounting firm like Kpmg. I told hem 5 times just charme for the little bottle of we took the more expensive one instead of waiting for some one going to the room to check out. Also you need to hire a good cook, food was not 5 star hotel. Thanks
