„Die Villa liegt in einer ruhigeren Gegend etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums von Hilo und bietet eine tolle Sicht über die Stadt. Die Rainbow Falls und weitere Stationen am Wailuku River sind in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Das Gebäude ist schon etwas älter und das Zimmer sieht genau so aus, wie man es in einer älteren Villa erwarten würde, wobei die verschiedenen Zimmer wohl sehr unterschiedlich sind.“

„Wir sind nach 15 Jahren zurückgekommen und mussten leider feststellen dass in diesen 15 Jahren nichts zur Instandhaltung unternommen wurde. Es ist in die Jahre gekommen, ist „muffig“ und leider auch nicht sonderlich sauber. Charme einer Jugendherberge. Abgesehen davon, herrscht eine „Coqui Frog“ Plage und man bekommt kein Auge zu. Mit Erholung hat das nichts zu tun. Wir wollten eine Woche bleiben - nach 2 Tagen haben wir vorzeitig ausgecheckt.“

„This is an extraordinary place, beautifully nestled at the top of a narrow tree-lined road, designed to blend into the landscape. It's high, and the view of the sea is grand. Well appointed, with a salt-water pool and very nice communal areas. We stayed only one night, a stopover between Kona airport and the drive to Hilo. We left thinking we would like to stay again, perhaps stay two nights. Lovely hosts. “

„Kleiner, hellhöriger, umständlicher Raum mit Innentreppe. Zum Frühstück nur Oatmeal und Papaya - dafür aber gut. Wie alles in Volcano nah am Nationalpark, dafür anders als in anderen Hotels recht unfreundliches Personal.“

„Es handelt sich um ein geräumiges und sauberes Zimmer im Kauai Beach Resort. Anlage ist gepflegt und Lage direkt am Meer. Preis-/Leistung stimmen. Die Parkgebühren von $ 25 am Tag werden durch Resort erhoben, nicht durch die private Vermietung. “

„Ich war von der Unterkunft einfach begeistert...Strand direkt vor der Anlage....nur über die Straße....das Restaurant Isana direkt nebenan... Die Unterkunft hat eine parkähnliche Gestaltung....hier muss man sich einfach wohl fühlen.....ich war vorher in einem lieblos anonymen Hotelklotz auf Oahu.....kein vergleich !!! Meinen nächsten Urlaub auf Maui werde ich ganz sicher wieder hier verbringen !!“

„We had a really good experience staying at the Outrigger Kauai Resort. The resort had nice pools, hot tubs, restaurants, bars, and a café gift shop. It was also really nice to walk out to the beach to watch sunrises and sunsets. The resort location was close to almost everything we wanted to do. The room was clean and functional with a great view from the lanai.“

„Property very clean, not enough parking on property, family members cannot pick your family up without parking complaints from owner, after payment owner mentioned Hawaii chickens but doesn’t say neighbor had multiple roosters pinned in back yard, rules to turn off all fans, air conditioning and close windows upon leaving, premises hot upon return, location difficult to find“

„This is the perfect stay for your Kauai vacation. The room was more spacious than the photos give credit too and the fridge was perfect for storing water and cold beverages. This room is clean and carefully appointed and the Outrigger property is lovingly maintained and met all of our expectations and then some. „This resort is perfect for people wanting a central location to explore the island. 30 minutes to drive to both the North and south shores. The resort is clean and has everything needed to relax and stay put as well- several pools, 3 restaurants and sits on miles of walkable beachfront. All of the resort staff was so friendly and helpful. The host was spectacular with timely communication and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We’ll definitely be back!“
