Seven minutes from Ober Gatlinburg ski and summer resort which has year round ice skating and tubing, an awesome mountain coaster, a summer water park and of course winter ski/snowboarding. You can ride the tramway down the mountain to Down town Gatlinburg to avoid the traffic and parking challenges. Use the guest passes for discounts. The tram can get expensive.

Conveniently nearby to the Chalet Village market and a less than 10 min drive down the mountain to down town Gatlinburg.

Also very convenient access to Great Smokey Mtn. Nat’l park. Avoid all that traffic getting to the park, you are already there!
