Villa Kennedy is a very good place to stay if you need to be near the centre of Frankfurt. It has just upgraded its TV offering. which is, now, unique for hotels in the Frankfurt region.
Rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is most atentive and helpful. Sadly the culinary offerings fall far behind.
Breakfast is massively overpriced for what is available. Other hotels of a similar standing have 3 entire rooms devoted to breakfast! The coffee is not pleasant, bitter and stale, unless you are lucky enough to have it freshly made. Boiled eggs are also a problem. I have asked for 4 minute and 10 minute eggs and received exactly the same state of "undercooked" on each occasion.
Omelettes were also over-cooked and leathery and nothing like a classic omlette!
As it is the asparagus season, I ordered this esteemed vegetable 3 times, with potatoes and hollandaise sauce. The asparagus and hollandaise were very good, the potatoes (3 tiny ones only per helping) were undercooked on each occasion.
So, a great place to stay, but not the best on the culinary front.
