"die jalousien beider fenster waren defekt, trotz sofortiger meldung bei meiner ankunft. das eine fenster war mit einer abdeckung aus plastik verhängt. diese konnte nicht geöffnet werden. bei dem zweiten fenster fiel die rollo trotz reparatur am 3.tag wieder aus der führung. am letzten abend begrüsste mich eine grosse kakerlacke an der wand. das personal war freundlich und hilfreich. sonst war alles in ordnung"

"The hotel is located in the center of the French quarter. But is very quiet and safe. Close to the main spots to visit. If you look after something historical but high class and quality - this is the place. The guys at the front door and reception were very friendly and helpful. But a big compliment goes to Roy - the concierge. He provided us with many hints (not only for New Orleans, but also for our road trip). With his help we organized two tours (city bus tour and the Whitney Plantation). If you stay at this hotel, definitely ask Roy for advices! "
