Schöne, saubere Zimmer mit Balkon. Die Außenanlage war sehr schön mit See und vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Gleich bei der Ankunft wurden wir von einer Herde Hirsche empfangen, die vor dem Hotel gegrast haben. Der einzige Minuspunkt war, dass es beim Frühstück zu wenig Plätze gab und Gedränge herrschte. Das müsste anders organisiert werden. Ansonsten war alles top.

We chose this hotel due to price but got so much more! It is within walking distance of downtown and the Stanley for strolls on the riverfront, shopping or dining. The property itself is wonderful. There is a playground, fire pit, outdoor grills, and lake on site. Real fireplaces in the room encourage a comfortable night in your room if you want to relax. Continental breakfast is extensive with cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, toast, waffles and more. The vibe is 50's motor lodge in the best way! The rooms are large and comfortable. The one drawback is the smallish bathrooms- which is to be expected from a renovated 50's hotel. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and we will stay here again the next time we come to Estes Park.

Towels were excellent, good location to down town. However, beds were very uncomfortable, soap dispensers did not work (we had to fix as containers were not installed properly), TV remotes did not work (Maintenance did come and get us new ones), Breakfast was awful--nothing but sugar and toast, grounds were unkept and goose and moose droppings everywhere.

Honestly this stay exceeded my expectations. The room was much nicer and updated than I expected from the price- I've stayed in lots of cheap rooms that were visibly old, stained, worn, etc, but this one was wonderful! The heat worked very well which was much appreciated on a cold night.

My son & I felt so comfortable and relaxed here & the office crew were very accommodating! It was quiet and friendly. The pond could be cleaned up on edges from some plastics n such but all & all we loved it here & we will make it our return lodge.

The property around the water was gorgeous. However we could smell a gas smell from the entrance to our room and In the room the entire night. Was not a very kid friendly property with anything to do for them. The hot tub closed at 7 which is very early for people waiting their turn to go in. The ice room was a bit sketchy as well. The breakfast consisted of toast, tuna packets and Mac and cheese. Very weird items for breakfast but took what we could take as it was complimentary. All around I would not stay again

The room was spacious with almost ample space. The bathroom had a lack of counter space. We had a fireplace in our room. It was enjoyable. However, dry firewood wasn’t available as it was stored on an outside rack. Kindling was under the rain that turned to snow. So, I bought two starter logs to utilize and enjoy the in room fireplace. The breakfast provided was plentiful in a variety of options. Re-stocking was prompt as the hours advanced. I really appreciated the to go lunch options offered as well. Staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and available to assist our needs during our stay. A strip mall along with a grocery store we walkable and it offered a plethora of options nearby as well.

Not for the light sleepers
The room we stayed in is not for light sleepers or anyone who wants to be there for relaxation. The room we had was under the lobby the noise was so disturbing and loud there was no going to sleep early or sleeping in late. You can hear every single noise you can imagine in this room. You will hear everyone walking around, things moving, and talking. It was like this until the lobby closed and right when it opened it started again. When the lobby was closed you hear this scratching and dripping noise all night long. I am so disappointed as this was a stay to be relaxing, enjoyable; and we have had minimal sleep to return back to our normal lives. The room was huge, clean, and staff was friendly but we unfortunately won’t be staying here again. I would suggest to the owners to close room 101 down and not to rent it out to anyone as the stay will not be enjoyable.
