We chose this hotel due to price but got so much more! It is within walking distance of downtown and the Stanley for strolls on the riverfront, shopping or dining. The property itself is wonderful. There is a playground, fire pit, outdoor grills, and lake on site. Real fireplaces in the room encourage a comfortable night in your room if you want to relax. Continental breakfast is extensive with cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, toast, waffles and more.
The vibe is 50's motor lodge in the best way! The rooms are large and comfortable. The one drawback is the smallish bathrooms- which is to be expected from a renovated 50's hotel.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone and we will stay here again the next time we come to Estes Park.
