Hermosa Haven (in The Ranch) is our 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home features a pond and mountain views and is located 10 miles (just over 10 minutes) north of downtown and 15 miles (15 minutes) south of Purgatory Ski area. This home is located near the tennis and basketball court. 30+ day rental. The location offers privacy and seclusion but yet is just a short drive to downtown as well as Purgatory. Dalton Ranch Golf Course, Durango Hot Springs and a full-size grocery (PJs Market) and liquor store are less then 3 miles from the residence.
The home features a fantastic outdoor living space with a BBQ Grill and views of the Animas River Valley. The Animas Valley is the signature mountain view in Durango with stunning red cliffs framing the meandering Animas River through pastoral meadows and Cottonwoods. There is also a free tennis court and basketball court available for use near the home - this home has racquets and a basketball for guest use. The home is located in The Ranch subdivision, which is one of the most sought-after residential communities in the valley and is locally for its lush landscaping and water-scaping.
This home has a washer/dryer, garage, wood burning stove, 2 decks with seating and a grill overlooking a pond and the mountains and is a short walk to the tennis and basketball court. The living room has spectrum cable TV. The bedrooms have roku TV, so you can watch your own apps, like Netflix and Hulu, or you can watch cable via the spectrum app.

COOLING: Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s. The home is also well-shaded.
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.
VRC CANCELLAION POLICY: If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 60 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within sixty (60) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than sixty (60) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. We do offer travel insurance.
