„When we arrived, reception was closed. A random man showed up and called the “owner or manager” who demanded we pay an additional $93 in cash. Per Expedia we expected to pay $47.99 at the hotel. "The resort feels welcoming with its nice grounds and tidy outdoor spaces. The rooms show their age a bit (we were here 3 years ago too), but they’re still comfortable and clean, and the whole resort feels well cared-for. Food is a definite highlight. The buffet is always good, and the a la carte options are consistently tasty. There’s a huge variety, so there’s something for everyone. The service in the restaurants was generally very good and attentive. A special shout-out to Juan Gavilan (in the restaurant/gastro team), who made our stay feel extra special. He truly cares about guests and helps create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Juan is a real asset to the team. The Platinum beach area is well maintained and pleasant for a full day by the sea. There are some signs of aging on the sunbeds, but they’re still comfortable. One improvement worth noting is the ongoing seaweed issue, which the hotel is tackling with newer, more modern machines that regularly clean the beach and keep water access easy and safe. Good news on the gym too - the upgrade is noticeable, with new equipment. The staff in the fitness area were friendly and shared useful tips. Overall, the hotel delivers a solid, enjoyable stay and makes a strong choice for a relaxing vacation."

"Ein wunderschönes All-Inclusive-Hotel direkt am Strand von Boca Chica, das seine vier Sterne meiner Meinung nach sogar übertrifft. Das Essen ist abwechslungsreich und schmeckt wirklich sehr gut – hier findet jeder etwas nach seinem Geschmack. Der Strand ist traumhaft schön und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die tollen Liegemöglichkeiten, inklusive gemütlicher Betten direkt am Strand. Auch die Cocktails sind lecker und runden das Urlaubserlebnis perfekt ab. Insgesamt ist der Ort einfach sehr, sehr schön – absolut empfehlenswert!"

"Hier ist eine kurze, prägnante Zusammenfassung nur zum Thema Sauberkeit: ⸻ Die Sauberkeit im gesamten Hotel war unzureichend. Benutzte Becher wurden nicht entfernt und standen teilweise in Sonnenschirmen, Wege waren sichtbar verschmutzt, und insgesamt machte die Anlage keinen gepflegten Eindruck. Auch die Zimmerreinigung erfolgte verspätet, was den Aufenthalt zusätzlich beeinträchtigte."

"Der Poolbereeich ist wunderschön gestaltet, sehr bequeme Liegen, jedoch wie leider in vielen Hotels, gibt es ab 08:00 keine freien Liegen mehr. So hatten wir das Vergnügen nur am Nachmittag, da war allerdings die Musik über viele Stunden teilweise so laut, dass an Erholung nicht zu denken war...sehr schade. "

"Unser Aufenthalt im Hard Rock war insgesamt sehr enttäuschend. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut katastrophal und entspricht in keiner Weise dem, was man für diesen Preis erwarten würde. Das Essen war grauenhaft – zwei von uns haben danach sogar eine Lebensmittelvergiftung erlitten. So etwas ist völlig inakzeptabel und ein absolutes No-Go für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie. Zusätzlich waren die Betten sehr unbequem, wodurch an erholsamen Schlaf kaum zu denken war. Besonders ärgerlich war auch, dass versprochene Guthaben und Leistungen nicht oder nur teilweise eingelöst werden konnten. Man wird mit Versprechungen gelockt, die am Ende nicht eingehalten werden. Insgesamt eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Wir würden dieses Hotel definitiv nicht weiterempfehlen."
