Great hotel! The central location in the old town was perfect. The most famous and beautiful hotel in Dinkelsbuhl. Front desk staff are very nice, speak English, and are quite helpful. Clean, VERY spacious rooms with enough electrical outlets to charge phones, computers, etc. Windows open to let in fresh air. No elevator, so pack accordingly. Large bathrooms with walk in shower. Good water pressure. The restaurant is SUPERB! A little pricey for dinner, but the food, wine and service were excellent! Best lamb I have had in Germany. They bring fresh bread and schmaltz to your table, absolutely delicious. Breakfast was included in our rate, it's your standard European breakfast with breads, cereals, meats, cheeses, salmon, coffee, juices, etc. They make fresh eggs to order. Delicious. The only thing missing were fresh fruits. The only not so good thing I can say is the parking. Being in old town, you can only park for 1 hour at a time on the street within the walled city. Expedia stated that parking was included...but it didn't say only for 1 hour at a time. The hotel does offer "valet" parking for 8 euros a day, which was fine, it was just a little misleading on Expedia, not the hotels fault. Just be sure when making reservations to request a parking reservation also. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, and highly recommend. Thanks for an enjoyable stay in Dinkelsbuhl!
