Die Zimmer sind toll und groß, jedoch haben uns die an der "Lagune" befindlichen Zimmer (also die unteren und teureren) nicht so gut gefallen, da sie eher dunkel sind und man von gegenüber direkt hineinsehen kann. Das Frühstück war hervorragend, aber die Atmosphäre auch hektisch und laut. Der Strand eignet sich nicht zum Schwimmen, da das Wasser fast immer viel zu niedrig ist. Die Mitarbeiter sind grandios freundlich und hilfsbereit.

9 von 10 Punkten. Super Lage, alles sauber und tolle Aufteilung der Anlage. Zusatz Angebote (cooking class) sehr gut organisiert. Lage der Tree Bar einmalig, Infinity Pool sensationell. Das Highlight sind die Mitarbeiter im Restaurant, besonders beim Frühstück wird sehr herzlich jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Aber jeder, auch Housekeeping, reception, etc sind mega freundlich und Grüßen immer. Warum dann nur 9 von 10? Die Auswahl beim Frühstücksbüffet ist etwas begrenzt, vor allem die asiatischen Speisen. Das Gym hätte mehr Aufmerksamkeit verdient und könnte neue Geräte gebrauchen.

Super Anlage mit umwerfenden Frühstücksbuffet uns sehr leckerer Speisekarte. Kann das Nasi Goreng war einfach nur spitze! Ein großes Lob auch an den Architekten der Anlage, super stylisch mit dem vielen Grün und dem Pool entlang der Anlage. Ach die Dachanlage sollte man gesehen haben. Top gepflegt. Großes Lob auch an den Fotografen der mit uns ein Fotoshooting unternommen hat.

Sehr gutes Hotel auch für Junge. Schöne Poolanlage leider nicht so sauber im Zimmer drinn. Das Haupt Restaurant kann man nicht empfehlen. Wir hatten einen Voucher geschenkt bekommen für 1 mal gratis Abendessen. Sind leider nicht mehr wieder gegangen. Die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern ist wirklich sehr schlecht. Das Hotel ist jetzt 2 Jahre alt und wenn es so weiterget sieht das in 5 Jahren grausam aus. Lage ist perfekt!! Zimmergrösse perfekt! Netter Empfang!!

Hotel am Strand von Sanur
Das Maya Sanur Resort Hotel liegt direkt am Strand von Sanur. Es gibt einen direkten Zugang zum Strand. Allerdings hat das Hotel dort keine Liegen bereitgestellt, was wir etwas schade fanden. Der Haupt-Pool war leider meistens schon in der Frühe belegt. Es gibt aber die Möglichkeit die sogenannten Strandmuscheln am Hotelgebäude zu nutzen. Das Spa haben wir nicht genutzt, dafür den Fitnessraum und das morgendlich angebotene Yoga. Beides war super. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Dinner hatten wir nicht im Hotel, da es so gut gelegen ist, dass man draussen sehr gute Restaurants findet. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt im Hotel Maya und können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Wunderschöne Zimmer und Top-Service. Preise an der Hotelbar moderat. Sehr schöne Poollandschaft und Barumgebung. Publikum meist im höheren Alter, daher sehr ruhig. Leider kein eigener Hotelstrand. Abends wenig bis gar nichts los. Waren allerdings in der Frühsaison da, daher Hotel bei weitem noch nicht ausgebucht...

Bestes 5* Hotel
Das Maya Sanur ist eines der schönsten Hotels in Bali mit super Lage, schönen großen und sauberen Zimmern, tollem Service, super Frühstück. Strand ist auch toll, zum Plantschen für Kinder immer geeignet, zum Schwimmen nur bei Flut. Nette Lokale und Shops in der Nähe.

Sehr modernes Hotel am Strand
Wir haben unsere Flitterwochen im Maya Sanur & Spa Hotel verbracht. Das Hotel und die Angestellten sind sehr auf den comfort der Gäste bedacht. Die Anlage ist wie auf den Hotelbildern erstklassig gestaltet und hebt sich deutlich von den anliegenden Hotels ab. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und hätten gern verlängert.

Bali Design-Hotel
Sollten Sie den üblichen traditionellen Baustil auf Bali erwarten, so werden Sie enttäuscht sein. Dieses Hotel interpretiert den Baustil auf Bali auf eine ganz moderne Art und Weise. Wir fanden es sehr gelungen und auf den zweiten Blick geradezu hervorragend gelöst. Die Größe der Zimmer, die Ausstattung, die Qualität des Service, die Freundlichkeit des Personals lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut, die Drinks an der Bar ebenfalls (Happy Hour ab 19 Uhr !!). Vom Hotel erreicht man in wenigen Minuten viele Restaurants, Geschäfte und einen Supermarkt (Hardys). Der Strand vor dem Hotel ist sehr sauber und wird vom Housekeeping 2-3 Mal am Tag von Seetang befreit. Wir haben uns die anderen Strandabschnitte in Sanur angesehen: keiner (!) ist so sauber und gepflegt wie der Strand vor dem Maya Sanur Hotel. Einziges Manko: die Seetang-Felder fangen recht nahe am Strand an. Schwimmen daher sub-optimal. Dennoch: dieser Strandabschnitt ist aus unserer Sicht der beste. Der Pool ist dafür aber ausreichend groß, sehr schön, ruhig, und hat einen tollen Blick auf die Lagune. Animation und ähnliches gibt es nicht. (Kleinere) Kinder werden sich in diesem Hotel nicht wohlfühlen. Für Teens OK. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden dieses Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Das Hotel und die Services waren spitze, leider war der Strand bzw. das Meer enttäuschend. Die Umgebung war für unseren Geschmack einen tick zu ruhig, gute Lokale aber wenig Nachtleben und Shopping.

Exklusives Hotel in Strandnähe
Das Hotel entspricht vollkommen den Erwartungen eines 5 Sterne Hotels. Der Service ist hervorragend und die Ausstattung sehr gehoben. Das Hotel ist trotz der Größe sehr ruhig und die Anlage ist gepflegt. Es liegt unmittelbar am Strand allerdings, ist dieser nicht nur den Hotelgästen vorbehalten. Es gibt keine hoteleignen Strandliegen. Das Hotel hat Sicherheitspersonal engagiert was diskret an den verschiednen Eingängen des Hotel positioniert ist. Die Zusatzleistungen wie Fitness Center und Spa entsprechen den gehobenen Ansprüchen. Es gibt zahlreiche Restaurants in Hotelnähe zu alternativ zu den sehr guten hoteleignen Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe genutzt werden können.

Das Hotel war fast leer, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Bei voller Belegung ist fraglich, ob der Poolbereich genügend Platz bietet. Wohl eher nicht. Das Hotel ist zwar gut, aber erfüllt nicht die Ansprüche von anspruchsvollen Gästen, die sich an sehr gute Hotels gewohnt sind.

Ganz neues Hotel in Sanur.
Es ist noch nicht alles ganz perfekt, aber trotzdem schon so schön, dass wir noch eine fünfte Nacht an unsere vier ursprünglich gebuchten dran gehängt haben. Wir waren schon in sehr vielen (meist Luxus-) Hotels auf dieser Welt und haben selten so ein nettes Personal erlebt. Wir kommen wieder!

Hotel was exquisite. Beautiful design, room was comfortable and well presented, it would have been nice if the TV was smart to allow for casting content., although we didn't spend much time in the room. Happy hour and dinner by the pool was a favour of my family with two young girls. They swam and ate until the pool closed at 8pm (it would have been nice of this was open to later). The staff were friendly and helpful. There were bicycles to borrow for a ride along the beach pathway which extended for several kilometres infront all the hotels and residences. The beach was clean but the 'lagoon' wasn't for snorkelling, I would have liked this more if I could snorkel directly from the hotel. But the trip to Nusa Penida was quite quick from the hotel, where snorkeling is better. Many restaurants outside the hotel with Spa and little boutique stores/ gift shops along the way. Overall, a lovely stay at Maya Sanur
