Verbesserungswürdig: Personal & Service, Ausstattung und Zustand der Unterkunft
We arrived at 10:30 pm; the main entrance was locked, so we had to check-in through a window.
With freeway traffic, it was too noisy to hear the desk clerk, who only mouthed “license” & “card”, took our cards & left, later returning to bring us room keys & say “thanks”. No instructions on where the room was, parking, WiFi, etc.
The room was clean, & the bedding looked new, but the furniture was older & weathered. You could feel a bit of humidity, so the bed sheets felt slightly sticky/damp when you crawled into bed, & the particle board furniture was warped at the edges from humidity. The sink faucet wasn’t securely mounted & moved significantly when turning on the water. The bath mat was mildewed around the edges, & there was a square spot in the floor (next to the table) that was weakened & felt like it was going to collapse when you walked across it.
Mini fridge, microwave, soap & a single set of towels provided , even though it slept 4. No hair dryer provided.
We turned on the fan (for noise reduction since the freeway was right outside), but it didn’t help block out the sounds of many noisy people that were outside talking & laughing loudly until nearly 1:00 am (despite a posted sign indicating a “strictly observed quiet time from 9:00 pm until 6:00 am).
The bed was comfortable enough, but the noisy neighbors made it hard to fall asleep. After putting in earplugs, I was able to fall asleep & slept comfortably.
It was okay for a place to sleep, but nothing great.
