Secluded enough for a real getaway experience but still close enough to head to civilization if desired. Cooking was also great as the kitchen was well stocked with equipment and staple ingredients and seasonings. 5 stars all the way!“

„Our party included three generations; the youngest member being 9 years old. We had plenty of room, the kitchen was large and fully stocked with appliances, and the beds were warm and comfy. We all appreciated the Christmas tree and decorations. It made our holiday much more festive. But the best part, by far, was the sleds. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve sledding party! My nephew, the 9 year old, sledded everyday and says this was the best Christmas!“

„The Aspen Valley Lodge is an older property but well-kept. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is simple but offers a nice assortment of options with fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, coffee, etc. The first-floor dining and living areas are comfortable and nice, with a central fireplace. It is near the bus stop for Snowmass and other mountains and is within walking distance of Ajax, but I wouldn't recommend carrying your skis daily. Close to restaurants and downtown shopping.
