Sanctuary Vacation Rentals is proud to present "Seas the Day", a beautifully renovated and remodeled gem that sleeps up to 6 guests.

From the moment you arrive, this stunning home will captivate you with a haven of sunshine, flowers and serene mountain views. The lush front garden and large patio are a warm welcome that set the tone for your entire stay.

The single-level, 2,740 sf house is centrally located in a lovely, quiet, uncongested neighborhood up on a hill, and just a short walk to historic Carmel Mission and Mission Ranch and a quick drive or bike ride to downtown Carmel by the Sea, Carmel beaches and Pebble Beach. The best of Carmel shopping and restaurants, Carmel Valley vineyards, the Big Sur, Cannery Row, and golf, tennis and dining throughout the glorious Monterey Peninsula are all within nearby reach.

Living Spaces
The heart of the house is open concept, airy and cheerful, with beamed ceilings, tastefully furnished and appointed throughout. French-oak floors adorn the space while the bedrooms are cozily carpeted. Large windows offer glorious views from every room, while double doors in the living and family rooms and the master bedroom open to meticulously landscaped flower and succulent gardens, a large front patio with a fire pit and an expansive back deck with dining table and chairs and a propane BBQ grill.

A ceramic log fireplace centers the living room, while the family room includes a multi-light electric fireplace with remote – perfect mood-setting effects. The house is equipped with a high-speed mesh WiFi network to enable internet access on personal devices and Roku enabled smart TVs in the family room and three bedrooms, as well as high-definition streaming from media devices.

Kitchen and Dining
High-end appliances and custom finishes will delight the chef in you, with cooking a breeze in this spacious well-equipped kitchen. Family and guests will enjoy congregating at the large island for appetizers and libations as delicious dishes are whipped up.

A spectacular window over the sink and nearby skylights bring in an abundance of natural light and views of the Santa Lucia Mountains. The adjacent dining area seats six around an oval glass table, offering a view of another abundant garden through bay windows.
A laundry with an LG Tower is located just off the kitchen.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
All three bedrooms are suites with king beds with luxury linens, TVs and en suite bathrooms with showers. Bedroom #1 also has a deep soaking tub.
The home also has a powder room / half bathroom near the living spaces.

Off street parking is available in the driveway for 2 vehicles; additional street parking is available in front of the home. The garage is not available to guests.

Upscale Property in Great Location

My family of five adults stayed at the Seas The Day house in Carmel during Thanksgiving week in 2024. The house is in excellent condition with many quality features and appliances, and a decent amount of cookware, bowls, plates, silverware, cups, mugs and glasses. We took advantage of the layout, able to cook, play games, do puzzles, work, and watch TV, all from different sitting areas. One other nice feature is the house has a recirculating hot water system, so you can get hot water within seconds, even in the farthest bathroom. The house is in a very nice area to walk or jog in: a quiet, residential area, not far from downtown Carmel. The entire area lacks sidewalks, but there is a Mission Trail Nature Preserve within walking distance. The house has good wifi for work. The layout worked well for us in that each of the 3 large Bedrooms has a large bed with an ensuite bathroom, plus a half bath in the common area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return.

Perfect home and setting

We loved our stay at Seas the Day. The house was probably the nicest, well equipped and pristine home we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many! It was an extra bonus for us all to have our own en-suite bathroom. The yard was beautiful. Loved sitting around the fire pit at night. We definitely will stay here again.

Perfection

There is not one negative thing to say about this stunning home only the most positive vibes. The home is exactly as it presents online - plus plus plus! Every detail and amenity in this home has been well thought out and it is absolutely beautiful. The kitchen has every appliance, dish and utensil that you could ask for or want in a rental or your own home for that matter. We were six woman traveling and the three spacious bedrooms and 3.5 baths was perfect for us (as it would be for a large family or three couples). Located close to all of the best of Carmel and neighbouring sites, i.e. 17 mile, Carmel Beach, Pebble Beach, Big Sur (a nice ride) and Monetery, as well to groceries (less than five minute drive) and restaurants. When we travel we expect to stay somewhere that is equal to our own homes or better (we are fussy) and this rental absolutely did not disappoint. Communicating with the owners pre booking, booking, and checking in - very professional, accommodating and gave us a sense of security from the onset. If you are looking for the perfect place - this is it!

Wonderful stay

This was a beautiful and spacious 3 bedroom property that had everything we needed for our stay. Each bedroom had an exquisite en suite bathroom and there were two large living rooms. This was the cornerstone of a wonderful trip to Carmel. Highly recommend!
