„We (a family from Germany staying in the US for 5 weeks) stayed for 5 nights, and soon felt home. The cleanliness was immaculate, not even dust under the beds. The standard (kitchen, bathroom) is a bit older, but we‘ve had some newer hotels that were maintained and cleaned less, so it‘s definitely ok for a few days. The region (Monterey, 17 mile drive, Carmel, etc) is amazing. We would come again, thanks for the great time.“

„This place is a hidden gem. It’s so spacious and quiet and relaxing. We are having a very busy trip down the Pacific coast and Salinas was an oasis in the middle of rolling farmland, for us to recharge away from the tourist bustle of Monterey. The lovely town of Salinas and the excellent Steinbeck museum was icing on the cake.“

„The River House is as advertised, well appointed, clean, comfortable beds, peaceful with a hot tube and the sound of a river which you can walk down too. It was much further away in terms of time than I expected. Although not too far in terms of distance, the road to the house is VERY twisty, and since we were in a rental car, took it slowly, easily taking an hour or more to and from Monterey. That was a big chunk of the day. “

„My mother and I were visiting the area and are so happy we found this listing. The house was close to everything, well equipped, very clean and roomy. There was a very nice outdoor area as well, unfortunately it was too chilly for us to enjoy. The Host was great with commutation- quick to reply to any questions we had. Would definitely rent again if I am back in the area. “

„My friends and I chose to stay in Salinas because it's centrally located to Pinnacles National Park, Monterey, and Santa Cruz. The house was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated.
