„Restaurant closed very early, there was no way to get any food. Elevator at the front door didn't work properly. Then they gave ma a room that was the most far away room you can imagine although I had super heavy luggage and despite the fact that the hotel wasn't booked out. The room was not heated and super cold. The sink in the bathroom was blocked. When I had breakfast and walked away to get a second coffee someone put a bottle with cleaning detergent on my bench and didn't show up anymore. ...

„Leider war das Zimmer direkt über der Hotelklimaanlage, so dass ständig ein surrendes Geräusch zu hören war. Das Hotel war bei weitem nicht ausgebucht, so dass diese Zimmerzuteilung verwundert.“

„Great modern hotel“

„The servis staff in restaurant were very competent, helpful and frendly. I enjoyed the dinner and the time very much. And the staff of reception and spa were also competent and frendly. My room was 6F. The view was pretty good, but the whole windows were dirty, unfortunarely. I'd be happier with clean ones. And my room telephon did kotvwork to call reception.“

„Huge hotel with lots of different bars, restaurants and facilities. Can seem a bit impersonal and no cosy areas. Outside areas are lovely. Our signature room in floor 6 was very comfortable. No furniture in the balcony was disappointing. The business lounge was nice but only coffee and 1 glass of prosecco was free. Disappointed there was no food in the evening. At breakfast just coffee and croissants. Parking garage was convenient with lift to lobby but £20 per day was steep.“

„This hotel is very well placed to be within easy walking distance of the sea front and all the night life. The car park is right behind the hotel and even though it is a pay and dispay car park, the convenience of its location is well worth the six pounds for a full day charge. Overnight parking is free after 6.00p.m.“

„Friendly staff welcomed me. Room not available till 15:00 biut thaty was OK. Mostly disappointed by breakfast not served till 08:00 on weekends, since I had to get a train at 08:50 and don't like being rushed.“

„Even though the exterior of the restaurant and accommodation are undergoing refurbishment we had a lovely stay at the coach and horses @ Castleton. The Room was perfect for our two night stay and the optional breakfast was delicious.“

„Very clean, though option available to skip a clean if you wanted (for eco purposes). Great welcome on arrival and at breakfast time. Amazing staff, one spotted my kid reading his comic at breakfast and made a point of letting us know there was a comic book fair being held in the hotel that day. My son and I would definitely be happy to stay here again.“

„Hotel was ok, room for three people with luggage a bit on the small side. Bathroom the same. All in all though great location, easy to walk to all the restaurants and shops. Parking in the station NCP just around the corner.“

"Das Personal an der Rezeption ist völlig überfordert, sollten das Zimmer nochmals bezahlen. Mussten Expedia einschalten, dann ging es. Parken kostet 25 Pfund und das Parkhaus ist Mega eng. Zimmer zur Lobby ist praktisch eingerichtet, aber man kann kein Fenster öffnen, so dass es stinkt und Klimaanlage ging nicht. Teppich voller Flecken und Bad naja. Da sind wir von dieser Hotelkette doch was anderes gewöhnt. Frühstück ist vorhanden, wenn auch nichts besonderes. Waren etwas geschockt von der Umgebung. Das Shoppingcenter in der Nachbarschaft hat hochpreisige Geschäfte, aber drumherum lungern viele Obdachlose und es riecht überall nach Gras. Dafür ist Cardiff Castle schnell fussläufig erreichbar."
