âThis was my second time at El Colonial. As the first time, it was great. Staff are fantastic and so friendly and helpful. I always feel very welcome. Sadly I always just stay one night. But it is definitely worth to make my way here from the airport. Hotel is in the midst of old San Juan and lots of restaurants and bars are just a short walk away. Very nice roof terrace for some drinks or just some peace and quiet. I will certainly stay again.â

âLovely hotel in old San Juan. Perfect to discover this lovely city. The hotel is modern but kept enough of its original features. There is an interior courtyard with plants and water feature. There are some rooms on this floor. Other rooms are upstairs. There is a terrace with views over town and a bar. My room was super clean and perfect for my one night stay. â

âHĂŒbsch eingerichtetes Altstadt-Haus wĂŒrden wir jederzeit einem Hotelbunker vorziehen. In Old San Juan wird sonntags bereits am Nachmittag gefeiert mit Live-Musik, Pina Colada, Salsa... Empfehlenswerte AusflĂŒge: Baccardi Destillerie, Regenwald El Yunque. Ausserdem sind wir mit Mietwagen nach Vieques Island (FĂ€hre unbedingt vorab reservieren!) gefahren. Dort unbedingt eine Kajaktour nachts in die Bio Bay buchen, sehr speziell wenn die Organismen im Wasser glĂŒhen, erlebt man nur an wenigen Orten ...
âKein Stuhl im Zimmer. VergrgröĂerungsspiegel im Bad ohne Stromanschluss. Gehört an die Wand, nicht auf den Waschtisch. Leider typisch amerikanisches Bettzeug. Kein Cover fĂŒr Federbett , sondern nur einzelne Laken! Jeden Tag Chaos im Bett, auĂer man bewegt sich ĂŒberhaupt nicht. Matratzen sehr gut.â

âI booked Hotel El Convento for an after cruise stay for my husband, myself, my two adult kids and their spouses and we couldnât be happier with the experience. The staff couldnât wait to help us with all of our travel needs and our stay here was the highlight of a two week 50th anniversary celebration! There may be closer hotels to the pier, but this was an experience in itself. â
âEl lugar estĂĄ bueno, tiene buena ubicaciĂłn en pleno viejo San Juan, la dueña es muy amable, muy atenta y muy servicial. Desventajas es que en la noche cuando hay fiesta hay mucho ruido y las habitaciones no tienen ventana.â

âWe spend two nights at Hyatt House San Juan.
We really enjoyed our stay, as the staff is very kind and helpful. The Hotel ist very clean. It is very good located, close to San Juan Bay. In addition, they offer a shuttle to the beach and old San Juan.
There are several restaurants close by.
During daytime it is sometimes a little noisy, as the hotel is located next to a small airport and the entry for trucks bringing goods to the container port. However, it was quiet during the night.

"Hotel in the center, on the main street. Location sensational. Only at night very noisy, because you can hear everything. The hotel is old and dirty. Reception only until 1am Once they changed the access code to the hotel and did not notify me. I stood at the door at night and no one answered the phone. I wouldn't have responded a second time. "
