Really nice small hotel
We had a wonderful stay - the staff is awesome, really friendly, super helpful, always nice. I also got a birthday present in my room - thank you so much! The rooms are nice, yes, the furniture is not the newest - but it's all really pretty and lovingly. We had breakfast in the sister hotel (two houses to go, not a minute) - with a wonderful garden part, huge breakfast with fruits, full english, different bread and cakes - perfect! The only problem which is all over Brighton: parking spaces - big advice: if you got one, just leave your car there for your whole stay. :-D Just one street away from the beach, also just a 3 minute walk to the city - quiet and near to everything, great! We'll come again, if we're in Brighton.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Familienzimmer, welches sich im Keller befindet war sehr geräumig (zwei Zimmer) mit einem kleinen Aussenbereich. Leider hört man die Schritte über einem sehr gut. Der Brighton Pier ist nur ein paar Schritte entfernt jedoch ist das Sea Spray ruhig gelegen. Parken ist nicht ganz einfach auf der Strasse zu finden.

gutes Hotel, freundlicher Check Inn, waren zu früh da, daraufhin wurde unkompliziert unser Zimmer als Erstes gereinigt, dadurch Bezug schon 12Uhr (ohne Aufpreis) Daniela an der Reception ist ein wirklich aufgeschlossener und freundlicher Mensch Gepäckaufbewahrung wegen späterer Abreise kein Problem, Frühstück gut und ausreichend, es wird alles bis zum Ende bereitgehalten/aufgefüllt gerne wieder

Netter Empfang. Leider ist das Doppelbett extrem schmal für 2 Personen und die Nasszelle sowie der Frühstücksraum ziemlich klein. Ansonsten ganz ok, sehr gute Lage für alles, was man so tun möchte, an den Strand, in die Stadt, viele Lokale und Pubs im direkten Umkreis.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Daniela war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns ausführlich erklärt, wo wir parken können, was sich als etwas schwierig heraus stellte. Der Weg nach ganz oben in die Suite mit dem vollen Koffer war etwas beschwerlich aber es hat sich gelohnt. Das Zimmer ist wirklich sehr gross und gemütlich. Aber das Beste war das Frühstück. Es gab alles was man sich wünschen kann und falls nicht, einfach fragen und es wird frisch gemacht.

Ich würde das sea spray weiterempfehlen. Die Lage ist sehr gut man kann alles in kürze zu Fuss erreichen. Das Frühstück ist klein aber fein. Es lässt keine Wünsche offen. Unser Zimmer war ruhig und zweckmässig und sauber.

Das Hotel war super. Waren eine woche dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das komplette personal ist sehr bemüht und freundlich, besonders Martha. Das Zimmer war stets sauber und beim Frühstück waren wir positiv überrascht wieviel Auswahl es gab. Das Hotel ist in bester Lage. Man ist gleich am Meer , aber auch im Zentrum und den Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Zentrale Lage und angemessen zum Preis
Sehr nettes Hotelpersonal, das umgehend auf Hinweise reagiert. (In unserem Fall eine Kleinigkeit, wie nicht funktionierendes Rollo im Zimmer). Ausreichendes Continental Breakfast mit Kaffee/Tee, Saft und frischem Obst ...! Nur einmal haben wir das "Upgrade" genutzt, um "Eggs Benedict" zu probieren (auch gut). Das Hotel ist recht klein, beseht aus zwei ehemaligen Wohnhäusern und liegt recht zentral, hat dabei auch schon ein paar Jahre "auf dem Buckel". Zur Strandpromenade sind es nur ca. 100 Meter und auch "The Lanes" (Straßen mit kleinen sehenswerten Shops) und Sehenswürdigkeiten (Royal Palace etc.) sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Wer mit Pkw kommt, sollte sich allerdings auf die Suche nach einem Parkplatz einrichten. Das Hotel hat (wie die meisten) keinen eigenen Parkplatz. Man ist auf Parkplätze mit Parkscheinautomat angewiesen (10.40 Pfund pro Tag). Morgens findet man im Gegensatz zum Abend leichter eine Parkmöglichkeit. Die Lage des Hotel ist trotz der zentralen Örtlichkeit ruhig in der Nebenstraße mit Blick auf's Meer. Eventuell könnte den/die ein oder andere(n) stören, dass das Gebäude etwas hellhörig ist und man wegen der Holzfußböden, ausgelegt mit dicken Teppichen, auch mal den Nachbarn hört, wenn er durchs Zimmer geht. Wir waren zufrieden und das Hotelpersonal und dessen Service ist einen erneuten Besuch wert. In der Nähe gibt es ausreichend Restaurants verschiedener Nationalitäten (Indien, Spanien, Italien usw.) mit durchaus bezahlbaren Preisen.

Stilvolles Hotel, zentrale Lage nahe Brighton Pier
Das Hotel ist stilvoll eingerichtet und liegt sehr angenehm an der "New Steine", wo es viel leiser ist, als an der Seafront (weniger Verkehr und wichtig, da die viktorianischen Häuser zumeist einfach verglaste Schiebefenster haben, was akkustisch problematisch ist). Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit; das Frühstück gut, wobei für ein "cooked breakfast" 5 Pfund aufzuzahlen sind. Unser Familienzimmer war im Souterrain, eigentlich nicht die bevorzugte Lage, dafür sehr geräumig. In Summe waren wir sehr zufrieden und würden hier jederzeit wieder buchen.

Enttäuschender Aufenthalt, Preis/Leistung schlecht
Wir waren zu dritt mit einem unserer Kinder für zwei Nächte im Hotel. Unser Zimmer lag im Keller mit Aublick auf einen dunklen Innenhof (vermutlich das einzige Zimmer, das nicht auf der Website des Hotels abgebildet ist). Die Dusche war kaum zu nutzen, da Dusche und Badewanne gleichzeitig liefen. Wir hatten das "inklusive" Frühstück gebucht - das war sehr eingeschränkt und nicht wie in England üblich. Später erkannten wir, dass Gästen die für das Frühstück extra zahlen, eine andere Karte mit vollem Menue eines English Breakfast angeboten wird. Das Hotel liegt zwar sehr zentral, aber Preis/Leistung passen überhaupt nicht.

Great property in an ideal location to explore Brighton, we struggled to park the car but eventually found one, room very nice, beds comfortable.check in was easy and hassle free, tv signal not great but I suppose you don’t come away to watch tv; defo come back here again

Highly recommended
Sea Spray is an absolute gem. All of the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We arrived early on the day we checked in, we were able to store our luggage while the room was prepared. We were given a map of the local area and shown all the places of interest. The room was snug and had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. Beds were comfortable Breakfast was great, with a variety of hot and cold foods as well as nice coffee. This boutique hotel is in a great location. There is a bus stop right at the bottom of the hill that you can catch to the train station. There are a variety of restaurants a short walk up the hill. The pier and seaside is an easy walk as well. The price is very affordable for such a beautiful place. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
