Mehr Schein als Sein, wenn man in die Lobby rein kommt denkt man das ist ein super Luxus Hotel ist. Die Zimmer allerdings sehr klein und sehr dreckig, man hört wenn die Nachbarzimmer reden oder die Toilette abspülen. In unserem Bad waren richtig viele Haare, Make-up Reste und Zahncremereste in den Bechern im Bad. Das war auf jeden Fall mein erster und letzter Besuch.

Mein Zimmer lag direkt neben dem Aufzug und die Betriebsgeräusche warun deutlich zu hören. Davon bin ich dann morgens auch schon früh "geweckt" worden. Beim Auschecken wurde mir zugesagt, das mir eine korrigierte Rechnung (zufügen des Firmennamens) innerhalb (1) Stunde per e-mail zugesendet würde. Bisher habe ich nichts erhalten, Auch eine E-Mail von mir (gesendet heute morgen) wurde noch nicht beantwortet.

Room was spacious and clean, staff were all really lovely. I had an issue at first and got moved straight away. Breakfast was great tho a little weird with having to get coffee from the bar area and not the breakfast restaurant. No expedia gold rewards offered at all tho and note the coffee facilities are just a kettle which is disappointing for a hotel like this.

This hotel was about 10/15 mins walk from the Birmingham Utilita Concert Arena which is why we booked it. The lifts to the rooms were a bit of a faff to use as you had to swipe your room key/card

Hotel was ok, walkable to bullring shopping centre but better to get a tram, the room was clean and tidy, staff were nice, breakfast was good. Parking was expensive so we parked somewhere else for less money.

On the surface the property looks nice but not a great stay. Area around the hotel is pretty rough and dirty (which is not necessarily the fault of the hotel), check in was good and quick. Room seemed nice enough but a few carpet stains. I was in a room with an adjoining door that was locked but I could hear every word my neighbours were saying which wasn’t great at 1am. The rooms are also not sound proofed enough for being on a busy roundabout so loads of road noise. Bed was lumpy too. Was expecting more considering the other good reviews but was really underwhelmed and wouldn’t recommend.

Park at Five Ways Parking right next door saves you £15 it’s 24 hours for £9 and Regis parking is £24 for 24 hours. Cheaper and easier :) But lovely stay overall !!!

I stayed here around 2 years ago and had a great experience, unfortunately my stay this time was not satisfactory. My room was shabby, the walls in need of a fresh coat of paint, half the lightbulbs were out and it smelled very heavily of bleach. The shower had mold all along the bottom and while I can appreciate how wet England is, it was clear it has not been cleaned properly in a while. Floors in the elevator and lobby were sticky. I don’t know if it’s because it was a long weekend and there was an event but I was disappointed. Staff was friendly so no complaints there.

Whole experience was fantastic. Great value for money. Ideal location for concert with bars and restaurants all on the doorstep. Hotel exceptionally clean. Only points would be, it’s very warm and the air con didn’t really cool the room. Windows didn’t open , obviously due to health and safety . No usb points so take your plug to charge your phone. We will definitely visit and recommend this accommodation to others.

Hotel was nice as I have stayed there before. Only let down was the spa experience and lacking customer service. They seem to not care about their guest wellness, seems like they are just happy to get anyone to just pay for they called “spa day”and when you actually email them addressing the concern they just sweep it under the rug and pretend it never happened. I had a complain about one treatment and they seem to not care at all. Wont be coming back and won’t be recommending this spa to any one.

I travel to Birmingham often coming all the way from the Middle East, I did a 3 week stay at the Park Regis Birmingham and can honestly it is probably the best hotel I’ve stayed in Birmingham over the years. Everything from the aesthetics to the staff at the property were brilliant. I have to mention that the staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating in making me feel at home! Miss Aala and Mr Bahman absolutely made my stay one to remember. Now when I travel back to Birmingham this will most definitely be my choice of hotel whenever I’m in the city. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Birmingham also.

Good location but improvement is need for cleannes
The location is fantastic, it is very close to the city centre and hotel decorations looks very nice. Unfortunately the room we staying has blood stains on the bed sheet, and pillow is quite dusty. We only found out the blood stains when we wake up as we too tired. When we do the check out, one of the staff ask me any feedback and improvement for the stay. So I mentioned about this, he said he will investigate it and we should let him know earlier, it could be oil stain, red wine, or any other chance to get dirt on the bed sheet. I mean is not hard to tell that is a blood stain, looks like someone got cut and accidentally get a mark on the bed sheet. The staff he just assumed that I’m wrong and not even showing empathy, and started to argue that could be something else. He said that is just what you think, we need to investigate then we will know what is that. I think the staff training on handing the customer response need to be improve. And the cleanness need to be improve as well. Last but not least, there is an entrance will be close at night on the ground floor, we accidentally went to there and we got trap in there for 15 mins, the elevator is not working and there is no instruction how to dial to the reception. And the reception didn’t tell us that entrance will be close when we checked in. It is unfortunate everything happen in this stay, I’m quite disappointed and will not come back for this hotel.

Nice but could have been better
I booked a double room but it was two beds zipped together and a single topper between the two. Very uncomfortable. The cooked breakfast was buffet style and dry and overcooked. The rooms were clean but, for the price, I think they could have been better. A bath would have been nice but the shower was a good one. There is a coffee pod machine but only two decaf pods and, like all hotels, never enough milk. I like that there are robes in the room though and the security is good.

Park Regis..... glad to be back! BUT! So originally visited park regis in 2018.... I have now returned visit in 2024, and can say some things did not meet the expectations I was expecting from my previous visit. The breakfast area is lovely, the bread toaster burns you bread. From the 4 staff I encountered in the breakfast area 3 out of 4 were amazing, 1 was rude as fish for a morning breakfast. In room drink services was not the best either, the kettle was dirty and the cups in the room were dirty., not enough quantity of sugar but lots of coffee but not teabags? The spoon has dried up chocolate lumps on it, not clean The furniture has stains and marks and not clean, the mattress has a big lump in it, the floor has paint on it, window ledge is bubbled from water leak I assume, the remote had food on it, interior furniture such as lampshades were broken. Was told by a member of staff that they charge £5 for room service which shocked me out, so don't call them. Communication was a bit poor, and I feel they could improve their communication with their customer. The staff at reception are more about their own personal life and about their partners waking up and doing this and that.... a customer is waiting to ask you a query etc. Overall was a good stay, do feel they could refurb some of the furniture and increase their cleaning.
