Smalles room I've ever been to. My first IBIS budget experience but I think it will be my last one. The other night I was sleeping in a castle for half the price. I know that airport hotels are expensive but thats not worth the money at all.

Budget halt, billig und überteuert
Es ist halt Ibis Budget, da weiß man das man nichts zu erwarten hat, aber dafür ist der Preis einfach viel zu hoch. Nicht mal eine Schrank oder Ähnliches um seine Sachen auf zu hängen

Also, as we operate two hotels under one roof, I would recommend trying Ibis Birmingham Airport the next time you visit. As we do offer more facilities in the rooms.

Sehr einfaches Hotel. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftige Rezeptzion. Zimmer sind klein. Ansonsten sehr gut, ruhig sauber und sehr nache vom Flughafen, nur über die Strasse. Grosses Restaurant in der Lobby. Zimmerkarten und keine Schlüssel nötig.

A good option if u have a early morning flight ,, beats kicking around the airport for hours waiting 4 early flight , would have had a meal in restaurant,, but they seemed to be short staffed so something in the airport instead ,, would use again .

Um where to start, I know this is a budget hotel but paid £280 for 2 nights and wish I booked somewhere else, firstly I sent a request to the hotel 2 weeks before and never got a reply. Room:- tiny, no separate bathroom, no locks on the toilet door, bed you get 1 flimsy pillow each, the dirt on the skirting boards was disgusting. No tea and coffee in the room, you had to go to a whole other floor if you wanted a drink. No hairdryer and no option to borrow one from reception. Staff were ok at best not very welcoming and felt rushed to get you out the way, when handing keys back not once asked if we enjoyed our stay. Also we put a do not disturb sign on our door and this was ignored! We ordered food on the second night and for what we paid the standard wasn’t great, drinks are expensive if it’s non alcoholic. Around the hotel there isn’t any local shop, we had to walk to the NEC to get what we needed. The only plus side is where it’s based if you are going to the NEC or the airport. Would never book this hotel again, and would book for the city centre as more for you money and cheaper.

The shower pressure was excellent. The rooms definately budget but just what you need for a night before early flight. Restaurant bar area on site good. And parking opposite (at a charge)

My daughter forgot her toothbrush and the host at the front desk gave her a complementary one. We also did not have a hairdryer in our room and he provided one for us to use. Small room, clean and was just what we needed for a one night stay.

Whilst the staff at the property in person were welcoming, actually getting hold of anyone to help prior to the stay was impossible. The facilities in the room were basic but fine. The fact that parts of the room had not been properly cleaned was not. At the price that was charged, the room fell short of expectations.

My review relates to the almost impossible way Expedia prevents you from cancelling a booking. Tried to cancel within the time period stated, system would not recognise my itinerary number and/or email address. Followed the procedure carefully, no mistakes and still could not make the cancellation. Now charged for a night which was not required. A refund would be helpful.
