„Staying in a jellybean house was on our wish-list for my first trip to St. John’s. This charming home, main floor + lower level (where the washroom is), was well-equipped with a full kitchen, laundry, and a lovely backyard with string lights (nice touch!). And excellent coffee (important!). Exploring the neighbourhood was fun (we learned o zig-zag!) and downtown/harbour are a close walk away.“

„This apartment is the ideal location to explore St. John's. Next to all interesting places, from Signal Hill to The Rooms and George Street etc. It is very individual and charming. Katie is very helpful and obliging. We had a lot of fun being there, sitting on that marvellous terrace looking over the harbour to The Narrows and to Signal Hill, We really recommend that apartment.“

„The neighbourhood is in need of serious renovation compared to other districts in St. John’s. The apartment also needs overhaul. Everything is substandard. It's dark. Various minor repairs are required. Decoration and furniture are old-fashioned and have no charm. Even towels are frayed and gray from overwashing. It is not a place where one feels at home. We ended up leaving after just one night. We asked for a partial refund to no avail.“

„There was not anything I needed that I couldn't find.. everything from extra pens, to lightbulbs. Our host thought about everything to make staying here comfortable. A bonus for me were the extra blankets and towels which were much needed, given that it was 3 adults and 2 kids which stayed. The location was perfect as well, as it was within walking distance to lots of food places and gifts shops. I would recommend this place to anyone thinking about staying here.“

The roomy bedrooms had plenty of natural light and full views of the harbour. The beds were so comfortable that we wished we could sleep late every day. „Great location, parking and cleanliness. Smell of disinfectant cleaner overpowering. Needs a mirror outside the bathroom and more glassware etc. Noise from upstairs unit was frequently so loud that sleep was difficult. Offensive smell in Bathroom, we realize this might just be the age of the building. The unit needs more attention to detail.“
