„This was the best-stocked cottage I have ever rented. The kitchen has everything you need including spices and condiments. The lake is beautiful and perfect for canoeing. The swimming access is a very long shallow sandy entry. The hot tub is great and includes screens to keep bugs out. Neighbours are fairly close when you’re at the lakeside but the yard and hot tub are completely private. Host is lovely and responsive. „Lakepoint was amazing! Stayed for a weekend with our dog and the area was perfect. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was functional and bbq was very nice. Gas stations and convenience stores 15 mins away. All together a great comfortable stay “

„Loved the beach and sandy lake bottom. Didn’t like being right on highway 60, lots of traffic noise. The kitchen was very dark and the light over the sink wasn’t working. Everyone had to walk through the main bedroom to use the only shower, the hosts left their bar of soap, toothbrush and paste and a razor. „Location was amazing, right on the water. We were able to kayak and SUP our entire stay. Janice was an amazing host. She shared so much of her local knowledge that we experienced things we may have missed had she not told us. Drive from Toronto is very easy. Hoping to stay there again.“

„We should have stayed a bit longer, Tom's cottage is perfect to calm down and relax after a long and intensive sightseeing road trip through USA and Canada. No motor boats on the lake, the next busy road quite far away - best place to relax. We liked also on evenings to make BBQ with the gas grill and the camp fire in the fire pit . I hope there is a next time to get there.“

„This property is fantastic! The house is beautiful, clean and very well stocked. Outdoors is equally fabulous. 2 docks to enjoy, plenty of seating, 2 kayaks and a fabulous view!!!“

We came as three families (four adults and kids ages 13–16), and the cottages were perfect for us—clean, comfortable, and with plenty of space to hang out together while still giving everyone room to spread out.The kitchens and amenities had everything we needed, which made group meals easy and fun. „We stayed for a week at this beautiful cottage and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We loved the spacious, modern, comfortable indoor spaces. The private beach area was great for small children. We could jump into the clear lake water from the dock. It was fabulous to use the suberb sauna with a view and the hot tub! We loved the 3 kayaks, paddleboard and canoe! Watercraft for everyone! We appreciated the abundance of seating areas, tables, hammock and swings on the upper deck and patio too.“

The location is peaceful and quiet, the sound of the Palmer Rapids in the distance at night was like listening to the ocean.
