„Hosts are very welcoming and show you everything and thought of everything. Very private with large grassy yard My golden doodle had a blast playing fetch and being off leach. We played bocce ball and enjoyed the fire pit as well as the lit screened in picnic table in the evening. Cabin is compact but windows let in a wee breeze. The kayaks were the highlight, kayaking to the waterfall. Happy, relaxing time 😎🐶“

„This place is just a lot less glamorous than the listing would imply. We had 9 adults in our group but this cabin only sleeps 6 max. So we had to rent a second cabin for full price. The manager was helpful tho and answered our questions. “

„Beautiful site, comfortable cottage, amazing host.This cottage contains everything you need during your stay. It’s a very quiet area. Close to all the wineries and the millenium trails. „I really loved how intimate this experience was. We had only one other group here and interacted only just enough to say "hello" in passing. There are HUGE berry bushes, lots of (tiny, harmless) wildlife, beautiful wild flowers, and trails to follow. On the downside, I was a little sad to discover that this space doesn't have a dock nor anywhere to rent watercraft. The advertisement somewhat led me to believe otherwise. There are, however, excellent rates nearby in Bancroft proper.“

„We had a lovely time as a family sharing this beautiful vacation rental. The property is elegant and well-maintained, there is good climate control inside, and the beds are comfortable. The lake is crystal clear and pristine, and we did a lot of swimming and used the canoe and kayaks. Getting to the lake was easy for all but one of our group, who has mobility issues; access is down a long hill with a pea gravel path. Overall, it was a lovely cottage holiday and we would recommend it to friends. “
