Had a wonderful stay. Great location in Downtown Asheville. Staff was extremely nice. Great surprise when we came back from dinner Wednesday night to hear the sophisticated groove of the Asheville Jazz Collective. They were superb!

Almost perfection! But...the room was too warm and the ac control was difficult to use and understand. I called the front desk at 0130, and was told if you go below 66 the heat kicks on even more. It was beyond confusing and made for 2 miserable and sleepless nights.

Great Hotel but a few issues.
One of our favorite hotels anywhere, but seemed to be understaffed in some areas. Housekeeping did not finish rooms until after 5pm. The front desk was very gracious and gave a F&B credit, but is something that needs to addressed. Hopefully so, as we love the hotel and location.

Central, Historic, Cool Vibe
We love the historic aspects (we opted to stay in a historic room), the upscale hipster vibe, and the bar and courtyard area. This hotel is walkable to downtown but a block off the main streets for some quiet when you want it.

Hotel is a very cool looking place close to shopping and dining. Staff was helpful. Room was nice looking however both bed frames were broken in the room and tilting so badly that it felt like I was falling out of the bed. I fixed this by propping up each bed with towels but it was kind of ridiculous to have to do that - first time ever in a hotel. The room was also super noisy at night and vibrated with some sort of generator or outside ac unit running constantly. It was hard to get to sleep or to stay sleeping. Unfortunate for an otherwise cool place. Hotel was hosting a private event when we were there and even though the staff encouraged us to move freely in the property, it was awkward since the place was pretty much taken over by the one group. The small outdoor courtyard area would have been a cool place to hang out but that wasn’t really possible with the takeover. Valet guys did a good job with our car. Honestly, due to the poor sleeping situation I’d have to think twice about the foundry next time.

Certainly not something common here but should not have been missed by our team. I do greatly appreciate you making us aware to ensure it is repaired. I am also very sorry to hear you all had some noise challenges in the room and that you all did not get a good night's sleep. I saw you all were Hilton Honors members and I would like to do something for you all since you did not have restful stay. I am sending you all a night of Hilton honors points that you all can use for a future stay at any Hilton property. I understand if you all decide to stay elsewhere on your next trip down, but I do hope you all decide to stay with us again so we may provide a better experience for you all.

We loved this hotel! Very comfortable and unique. Close to restaurants and shopping. Trey was our favorite bar tender of the whole trip! He was amazing, drinks were awesome! We loved the brunch at the restaurant. Beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious. Highly recommend!

Birthday weekend
We checked in to a great Valet team, followed by the front desk staff that we awesome. Throughout our stay they delivered outstanding service. The grounds were well kept and sitting outside was quite enjoyable. Upon checkout, the bellman, the valet and the valet team were top level, even getting us ice for our cooler. The concierge gave us great advice for a fun rooftop experience and mountain view.

Very nice hotel. Great history to the building but very model hotel. Nice rooms, bar and restaurant. Had jazz on Friday nights. Convenient location to downtown Asheville restaurants and shops.

Horrible Romantic Weekend Away
Our room had beautiful floor to ceiling windows, but we couldnt open the curtains because we were five feet from the valet stand and a very high traffic area. It was also incredibly noisy with cars in and out, beeping horns, and the valet leaving cars running with the keys in his pocket, so the cars would beep until he returned. We were also a few feet fro. The elevator, so we heard every conversation in the hall and they heard us. The walls and ceiling were super thin as well, so I got little to no sleep because of the heavy thuds of the people above us and the constant discussions and car beeps, etc. We were dismissed when we brought these things up with the front desk.

Not the best stay, but the manager on duty definitely helped. No running water in the shower made for a long night and morning. The rude customer service at the front desk (lack of concern) was made up for by Shane being so helpful and making sure things were handled. He was awesome and so friendly! The hotel is beautiful and we will be back for sure, thanks to Shane's helpful nature.

Wow! The room rate is a bit high but if that isn't an issue, then this is a great hotel to consider. Staff was top notch. You won't be disappointed.

A gem in a gem town.
The building is amazing. They preserved the elements of an old factory or mill. Exposed brick, beautiful floors, light fixtures. A very good edgy vibe. Great bar and a restaurant on site.
